Given 90% while driving a Audi A3 Sportback (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 17,000 spirited miles
Even on new rubber with deep tread the turn in is surprising and positive. Wet grip is exceptional as are comfort levels for a performance tire. I swapped from Dunlop sp sport max and transformed the ride and grip levels. I would recommend Michelin PS 3's to anyone.

Given 94% while driving a Honda Accord (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
Excellent tire and compared to my previous Contis SC2 I find the Michelin PS3 better overall.
Only thing not sure yet is the wear but after 1000 miles they still look like almost no wear at all. A little early though to say with confidence that they last well.

Given 100% while driving a Ford Focus mk2 (205/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 300 average miles
Has transformed the drive, handling, grip etc on my Focus 1.6ti estate.
I have only had them on for a couple of weeks, so far very pleased.

So much better than the Dunlop EfficentGrip, crap in the wet, they were on the car when I bought it.

Will buy again.

Given 93% while driving a Mitsubishi Evo XI 360MR (235/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 35,000 average miles
I have been running the original Yokohamas that came with the car, then onto a set of Bridgestone Potenza RSpecs - both having their own performance and wear characteristics. It came time to change the Potenzas over and I was recommended the PS3's and somewhat reluctant and sceptical I went with the PS3.
They are fantastic on the normal day to day city driving - giving me the grip when I need it in wet and dry. I loved the feedback of the Potenza Road Rspec tire, but they were harsh and I felt evry bump on the city and country roads. The PS3's give me comparable grip and excellent feedback without the bumpy, noisy ride. All I had to get used to again was timing hard turns and allowing for the softer sidewall - but hey - you have to sacrifice one thing to gain another. In this case it was a more comfortable daily drive. I will reserve the Potenzas for track days from now on. As far as wear goes - no complaints what so ever - just keep your alignments and pressures right. You get what you give - treat them like crap and and they won't last as long. Surprised to see the low milage from some - as I am not a dainty driver and still reckon I will get around 40 to 45,000 miles out of mine. Definately will look at fitting the same again.

Given 50% while driving a Ford Mondeo Titanium X (235/45 R17 R) on mostly motorways for 10,000 average miles
The wear on the SP3 is no better than a budget tire. Very disappointing (10,000 miles of easy motorway driving) and will not buy again!

Given 99% while driving a Audi A4 2.5tdi Quattro Avant Sport (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 26,000 spirited miles
these are the best tires ive ever had..
i drive and audi A4 Quattro sport avant 2.5v6 tdi, had it from nearly new and now on 100k miles. Ive tried Conti sport contacts (wear out too quick)
dunlop sp's (crap in the wet / snow) michellin PS2 (good tire) but the michellin PS3 is hard to beat.. this last year ive been working in london (I work in the building industry) travelling from Manchester via the Snake pass and the M1, fully laden with tools etc.; I drive it hard in all weather and these tires never let me down - flat out on the motorway or whipping round the s bends in rain or shine, they stick to the road like sh*t to a blanket. got to replace the rears next week as worn to minimum after 26000mls. Buy them, you wil NOT regret it.

Given 100% while driving a Volvo s60 D5 (163) (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 600 average miles
I have recently fitted four Michelin PS3 tires to my Volvo s60 D5, they have transformed the car. The car no longer tramlines, the tires are very quiet on various road surfaces, and absorb bumps and iregularities in the road surface better than the previous tires (Dunlop sport maxx), giving a more comfortable ride. The car feels more stable at speed and more predictable when cornering. Although I have not yet driven many miles on these tires I will buy Michelin PS3's again.

Given 100% while driving a Mercedes Benz C220 CDI Sports (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 35,000 spirited miles
Car - MB C220 CDI Avantgarde with Sports upgrades & remapped ECU
Previous tires - Continental Contact Sport 2 (OEM), Pirelli P-Zero Rosso (1st change)

Let me take them as they came:

1. Continental CS2 - These were OEM and were great tires. I can't really compare the CS2 to the PS3 directly because I used the P-Zeros in-between for about 12k miles. The CS2 were quiet, had a great dry/wet grip and inspired confidence whilst driving. Pedal-to-metal didn't loose much grip and performance was above par on practically all aspects you can think of. These lasted 20k miles.

2. Pirelli P-Zero Rosso - These were my 1st change. Someone recommended them very highly and I fell for them. Sadly, they didn't really live up to the recommendation. They were quite decent, but nothing compared to the CS2. They lost grip in the wet quite a bit and pedal-to-metal was a lost cause with these. Road noise was also slightly higher than the CS2. These lasted 14k miles.
Recommend to a friend - No. Buy again - Never.
Price paid (incl fitting, balancing, alignment) - £450 for 2 x 225/45/17 and 2 x 245/40/17.

3. Michellin PS3 - Current tires. Bought after reading loads of reviews/feedback online. These are a HUGE improvement on the Rossos and I'm pretty certain that they're quite a bit better than the CS2 as well. I base this on evaluating their performance in certain circumstances like in roundabouts, emergency stops, green traffic light acceleration. Much quieter, excellent wet/dry road grip, inspire loads of confidence whilst driving around roundabouts/country roads/motorways/etc.
Bought about 500 miles back... so no idea how long they'll last.
Recommend to a friend - For sure. Buy again - Hell yeah !
Price paid (incl fitting, balancing, alignment) - £600 for 2 x 225/45/17 and 2 x 245/40/17.

Given 94% while driving a Mazda 6 (225/45 R17) on mostly motorways for 15,000 average miles
Best tires I've ever owned. I've had Continental tires (came with the car) also tried Bridgestone Eagle F1's. However, this is my favourite tire. Much cheaper than equivalent Continental or Bridgestone (AUD300 each), yet I would have to say they are the best handling tire I've had. The grip in the wet is unbelievable! Also very quiet.

Given 90% while driving a Volkswagen Passat 2.0TDI (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 500 average miles
So far so good, replaced a front pair of Pirelli P Zero Rosso's which were on when I bought it second hand. They spun in first and second all through the winter and were shocking in wet and dry but they may have been old tires. PS3's on the other hand haven't slipped once and I've tried to push them especially pulling away when turning at junctions. Seem to stick well and hold on in the bends. Good acceleration now without wheel spin. Too new to comment on noise and wear but will post again in a couple of months and will no doubt replace the rears with the same. £280 the pair fitted locally.

Given 87% while driving a Honda Civic (225/45 R17) on mostly town for 25,000 spirited miles
Brilliant Tires just got them on today bases on the results of the 2010 Autoexpress tire test moved from Vredestein Sportrac 3 which I really liked wear on those was 25,000 on a 2.2 Diesel civic. Alot better than the terrible wearing Bridgestone Turanzas ER300 which were fitted from new. I hope Michelins are as good as they claim
