Michelin Pilot Sport 4S vs Cup 2 vs Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar 3 vs 3R vs Toyo R888R - 3rd of 5 tires

  • Overall - The Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar 3 is a very impressive road / track hybrid tire. The steering is well weighted, quick and direct, offering good feedback and sportier levels of driving than even the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2. The grip levels are very high, with the lap time a second ahead of the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. This is an outstanding road tire on track, and the surprise of the test for me.

Given 81% while driving a Ford Mustang (255/35 R19) on a combination of roads for 1,000 spirited miles
Just got the Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar 3 tires on my Mustang, and man, they've made a huge difference! The grip on these bad boys is insane, especially when taking corners. I feel way more confident pushing my car to its limits now.

They might be a bit pricey, but totally worth it in my opinion. Can't wait to see how they perform on track days!

Given 79% while driving a Chevrolet Corvette (/30 R19) on track for 3,500 spirited miles
2 Track days later, they still had plenty of life left. The grip doesnt go down with each lap, Fairly comfortable and no noise on street driving. High confidence in turns and really good braking feedback. I compared these back to back with my M2C on Ad08r and these had better cornering capabilities.
