Given 93% while driving a Audi A4 1.8T Quattro (245/40 R18 W) on mostly motorways for 10,000 average miles
The tire is very impresssive. Its ability to provide traction in wet condition is just unbelivable Exelent grip in corners. I have driven whit top brand tires but these are the best high performence tires I have ever driven on the road and the track!

Have had these fitted for three months replacing Michelin Premacy HP which had lasted 42K. So far very pleased especially with the now total lack of road noise that the previous Michelins gave.

Given 90% while driving a Honda Accord Tourer Type S (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 3,000 average miles
I have had Godyear Assymetric F1 225/45 R17 XL load index 94 (version 1) before these. I was satisfied with Goodyear in the past, so decided to buy same brand again. I'll compare version 1 vs version 2. Only problem with version 1 was that they didn't last long, near 25.000 km. Everything else was extremely good. Grip wet and dry, handling, noise, comfort was good as well.
Now I've purchased version 2 non-XL, load index 91. In version 2 I like grip, wet and dry. I like extremely good comfort and very low noise level. What I don't like much in version 2 are soft sidewalls. I need to put more air pressure in, that is not a problem. But, handling isn't as good. I can feel that tires are very soft during hard cornering. So, need to brake a little and do not push that hard into the corner. This is annoying. With this experience I would consider XL version, load index 94, for the front axle. The car I drive is Honda Accord Tourer 2,4.

just thought i'd add a further review after having the tires on for 4 or 5 months now. best thing i can say is that they are even better than i thought, dry grip is amazing, i even got stuck in a blizzard coming home from manchester, with around 6 inch of snow on the road, and the tires coped with this quite well... unlike the poor guy i saw in a bmw z4 who could only seem to go sideways, i just kept plodding along. not bad for a 256bhp front wheel drive hatchback!
again, i cannot reccommend these tires enough. fabulous.

The tires started with very good characteristics. Then as they wore in these progressively improved. I had Michelin Pilot Sport 2 prior to these and these are excellent and much the superior tire. The wet and dry grip is outstanding.

I've replaced the OEM bridgestone re050a rft by the goodyear f1 asymmetric 2 (non rft) on my e92 335d (340hp) and I can say I'm delighted with the results!
OK. It loses a bit in road feedback specially on good and fast roads but it's more progressive in the limit, it gains in all-around grip but it blows it up in comfort. Don't get me wrong… I do enjoy driving in the limits of physics.
I'll check the goodyear tire wear, but I'm definitely going to stick to the non rft tire option.

Lesson learn: don't mix rft with non rtp. I had to ride one day with 2 non rft rear goodyear and 2 rft front bridgestone and you wouldn't believe how unstable the car gets... similar to have 2 flat tires in the back.

Given 100% while driving a Audi A4 2.0 TDI 140 SLine (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
Bought after reading reviews on many tires both more and less expensive. These Goodyears totally transformed my 2007 Audi A4 Avant 2.0 TDI. Supremely quiet, smooth, nimble. Steering feels lighter, no tram lining, shunts water out the way like it's not even there. Outstanding grip, dry or wet. Had high end tires from Michelin, Dunlop and Continental and these blow them all away! Will definitely buy again.

Replaced a set of well worn DUNLOP 3000A's (local Aussie spec tire), that had an awful drone @ 60 - 80 klm/hr range. For the same price as the OEM DUNLOP's the Goodies are substantially quieter (radio now runs a couple of points lower) with no appreciable grip loss in the wet or dry. Agree with previous comment regarding the lack of tramlining another advance compared to my previous boots. Time will tell on any wear issues (50,000 Klm on DUNLOP's), but so far so good on all fronts. Another happy customer thanx to the views & reviews on this web-site!!!

Given 100% while driving a Audi TT (225/45 R18) on mostly country roads for 1,500 spirited miles
This tire is brilliant, bought this after seeing the good reviews, and have not for once thought i made the wrong choice. cracking in the dry and probably even better in the wet! low road noise even with the roof down and seem to be wearing well aswell after 1500 "spirited" miles! ;) ... would definetly buy again!

Given 67% while driving a Volvo V70 T5 (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 2,000 spirited miles
Fitted 4 of these on my V70 T5 replacing the P6000s that came with it. Chose them due to the very high ratings and group test wins and I'd previously had some GSD3s on a 850, which were pretty good.

On the plus side, they're better than the P6000s (not difficult), dry grip is good, (warm) wet grip is good, ride is better than the P6000s, less tramlining, fairly quiet etc, better on-centre feel. BUT, the cold, wet grip is dreadful on the sort of greasy cold road that is typical of a winter morning - a few degrees above 0. The car just washes out with very poor grip recovery. Even the P6000s were better in this scene and my Pilot Exaltos on my other car are like poo to a blanket in these conditions. Really dented my confidence in the tires, though as I say they are fine in warm conditions.

The 2nd problem is that they flat spot if the car is parked warm and left over a freezing cold night, so the first umpteen miles are spent shaking away until it gradually improves. Not what you'd expect these days. If you run winter tires (which I will do next year), then the summer performance is undoubtedly good and you'll probably not experience the downsides. For an all round tire, however, I wish I'd gone with my experience and got a set of Michelins.
