Outstanding from the off! Fitted on damp cool day, driven on damp, hilly, twisting Devon roads) - performance is outstanding.
Fitted a pair to front of Audi A3 TDi 130bhp, swapped existing SAVA UHP to rear. SAVA's (a Good Year brand) OK but betrayed their budget pricing, so when rears worn fitted the GY A2s which were scoring best on test. Car far better as SAVA's understeered, and felt you needed caution when in bends or accelerating.
This is not to denegrate the SAVA's which are ok (and were recommended by a centre), but really shows the value of the latest products. You really should fit these, especially as good mid range are now almost the same price (or sometimes more ...)
They're quiet, ride bumps well and grip and direct the car like you can not believe. Too early to assess wear or fuel economy.
I paid £108 a tire via Tiresavings.com (fitter was Halford's Auto) - typically cheaper £10 cheaper than other sites.

I have tried all the major brands over the years and these tires are just incredible. Worth every penny and more. I will never fit any other tire ever again apart from Goodyear Eagles.

Awsome tire, great from the off, car felt like new again and got even better as they scrubbed in. The most comfortable, quite, low profile tire i've ever driven on, bags of grip wet or dry, really feel stuck to the road in any condition, big rim protection also, tire must be 1cm wider than the Falken 452's i had on before!,better than F1 Asy 1 and they were great, can't fault these tires great for any style of driver. Paid £127 from tire shopper each bargin!

Best tire and best size (225/40/18) for MPS! Over 1000 km until now and the first thing that impressed me was how sweet and quiet it is on bumpy roads! Superb traction on the dry! I think I'll never find its limits! I rarely drive fast on wet so I don't know about wet traction and I don't care too much since it's a SUMMER tire! Wear index 300!!! Previously I had Bridgestone Potenza RE050A (215/45/18) and Michelin Pilot Sport 2 (225/45/18). Bridgestone was noisy, its traction was awful and it worn too fast (wear index 140!!!). Michelin was very good but the size that I chose was not right so traction and comfort improved but also fuel consuption increased because of the bigger profile.

First proper performance tire i've bought.... definately money well spent. The difference was like night and day especially in the wet. Understeer was greatly reduced when pushing it around corners. Just bought them again for the impreza sti

not had these on very long but they have totally transformed the ride quality and handling on my car. it was immediately noticeable from leaving the tire fitter, i had all four tires changed from bridgstones which the car came with from the factory, thay had done 27k miles, and were not totally worn out, but they were letting go in the wet so i had decided to change them. what has amazed me most about the goodyear tires is how much they have transformed my car and its characteristics. if i hadn't experienced it for myself i would have found it hard to believe. but believe me you can, these tires are startlingly good. and incredibly good value for money. i will definitely be using these again. 100% quality tire.

had these new tires after the "stock" tires (Bridgestone RE050A) worn off at 33000km.
immediately felt better compared to the time when i took delivery of my car a year ago. grip is obviously improved (compared to the bridgestones when they were new.) in both wet and dry conditions (previously required substantial input from ESP/ASC).
(drive approx 50%city 50%highway up to 130km/h, all inflated to 38psi)
value for money compared to other premium brands.

Covered 4000 miles so far, very decent tire. Plenty of hard driving. Driven to Ben Nevis from London. Can be bettered for dry grip and for wet grip but doubt if any competitor can combine both as good as these do. Fuel consumption has improve fractionally and overall value for money is excellent compared to rivals. Feel and feedback is very good, also comfort and road noise are better than on previous tires I have had. Don't know yet about tire wear but so far so good. I would consider buying again.

Fantastic tire. Probably the best tire i have ever bought! It handles really well in both wet and dry conditions, they feel really responisve and the noise is significantly lower than other premium options. nice smooth ride and reasonable wear. Well done Goodyear. I would definatley recommend these over the leading "well know brands" as they give the same results at a reduced cost.
