When your budget is a bit tight thankfully there are alternatives out there from the premium brands. And I was pleasantly surprised at these tires as they cost 87 pounds delivered and a further 10 pounds to fit.
In terms of dry grip they have been excellent almost as good as PS2 and Conti 3 and even in the wet they can hold their own and have never let me down. These are also an all season tire but I missed the opportunity to test them in the snow as they were fitted just after the last batch of snow we had.
The sidewalls are softer then some of the premium brands but saying that they give an excellent and comfortable ride especially on motorways and long A roads. The tread pattern is very nice and these are an asymmetric tire so can be rotated back to front right to left.
And at half price of the big brands PS2, CSC3 etc give superb value for money and last even longer then them. Will recommend to anyone give them a punt and save yourself a packet.

Done almost 8k on these and I can tell I will need to change them pretty soon. My driving style isn't the easiest on the tires, but my Dunlop's that I had before seemed to withstand the punishment somewhat better than these. Felt pretty responsive in the wet and dry when new. Less grip in the wet now they're visibly worn. Might buy again in the future... probably try something else first though. Got them cheap so good value for money.

Had these 4 tires fitted c. 2 weeks ago. Immediately noticed quieter / smoother running (I suspected 1 of my wheels had lost a balancing weight before these). Previously had Pirelli pzero rosso fitted, which were great in the wet, but wear rate was poor & they're expensive. So far, so good - highly recommended.

Replaced the Falken FK452 with these. Good tire both in the wet, dry and snow. However I only got 14k miles from this set. but that was town driving with lots of round-a-bouts.

as a private hire taxi driver, i renew my tires every 6 months
doing a lot of mileage 3 point turns etc,im based in a rural
location spending a lot of time on dirty wet muddy country lanes.
ive found them excellent all round tire with good wear rates, although i do turn round "front to rear" every 5k, Sadly my only moan is the price
12 months ago they were £88 each there now £130 !!! after chattin with my supplier hes offered me pirelli P zeros for an extra tenner a tire,so im changin to the P zeros lets hope ive made the rite choice !!!

Fitted these to my 525i sport about 4000 miles ago to replace the Continentals fitted by previous owner. The Conti's were good tires but there was no way I was going to pay to have them again! I spent ages reviewing all the options and the ZE912 seemed to be the tire to go for. I have not been dissappointed at all. Very good grip in both the wet and dry, just as good as the Conti's with good feedback too. Road noise and comfort is excellent and they seem to be wearing very well. Given the price compared to the premium brands you can't go wrong.

I purchased these tires as replacements for Dunlop sp300E. Immediately they are much noisier than the Dunlops. Fuel efficiency appears to have dropped by about 10%. However, the dry grip feels as good as the Dunlops, the wet grip is also good with no aqua planeing even on flooded roads. driving in recent icy/snow was acceptable. Overall a satisfactory mid range tire. Done 1000 miles and wear appears good. Would I buy again? probably not based on road noise alone.

Excellent set of tires, especially in the recent snow and ice, happily passing rangerovers etc on the snow covered motorways, plenty of feedback and only slight tram-lining in the deeper stuff.
Only 3K miles so far, no noticeable wear yet.

V good and constant grip in the dry and seem to last very well. However grip in the wet is not great. I used these for a year and they even stood up to a track day pretty well with much less wear than I expected with an hour on track. My old bridgestones would have been on the canvas by the time I finished but the Falkens still had plenty of tread left. However during the recent bad weather they have had limited grip in the slush and pretty much none in wet snow but some of this was down to the fronts being worn on the inside alot (from the track day) which I previously hadn't seen. The rears are still fine. Even so I cant imagine them being the best 'all weather' tires out there even with no wear.
Overall a very good wearing dry weather tire.

Like many on here I spent hours deciding what tires to put on my car. I'm a high mileage rep who likes speed and handling when I need it, comfort over long motorway runs, safety in all conditions and economy. I've had these boots on for a while now and can say I'm impressed with everything - especially the life of the tires. Given I'm not a gentle driver I'm amazed that I've just passed the Mot with all four tires on 23,000 miles. Deadful in snow - but I'm guess most tires on a RWD Merc are.

These Falkens replaced a set of Yokohama C-Drives on my 2004 Mondeo Estate 130 TDCI. Compared to the yoko's they are slightly noisier but well worth the money in comparison.
I was impressed with the grip/lack of noise compromise for the price, but the wear rate is not good enough. I am astonished at how some people have got 20,000 miles from these tires, mine are completly shot at 9,500 miles (15100km). Having said that, so were the Yokohama's.....
I have a family car, rarely loaded, and drive it gently e.g. I get better economy than everyone I know with the same car (45mpg). The tracking is perfect and there are no defects. Perhaps it's just the car, but if my experience is anything to go by, I'd hate to run these on a powerful car!

Got these as a replacement to my Bridgestones on my Civic Type R and had them on for almost 3K now. A reasonable tire for the price but fuel economy has is worse by at least 15%. If you run these for 20K miles the money you save is easily lost in the extra petrol and this will only get worse as it gets more expensive.
Plus points over the Bridgestone RE040 are the ride the bumps much better and noise wise is a noticeable improvement. Handling though is more nervous and doesn't give you the assure in the corners or wet.
The old adage you get what you pay for is true here, a good tire but in the end it works out much the same.
