BFGoodrich All Terrain TA KO2
WatchThe BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 is a rugged, dependable all-terrain tire that's at its best when the road ends. Driver feedback and independent testing agree it delivers standout traction on loose surfaces and in snow, backed up by a tough carcass and strong puncture resistance. On tarmac it's generally stable and predictable for an aggressive A/T, but its biggest compromise is wet-road grip and braking.

Review Summary
Based on 33 user reviews
BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 reviews are largely positive, with drivers consistently praising it as a tough, dependable all-terrain tire that excels off-road (rocks, gravel, sand) and resists punctures, while also delivering strong tread life. Many users also report confident performance in snow and generally good dry-road handling for an aggressive AT. The most frequent downside is on-road wet performance-especially wet braking and wet cornering-with multiple reports of reduced grip, and some owners also note increased noise and a firmer ride (often worsening as the tire ages/hardens).
Strengths
- Excellent off-road traction (rocks
- Gravel
- Sand)
- Strong durability and puncture/sidewall resistance
- Long tread life / hard wearing
- Good snow traction for an all-terrain tire
- Confident dry-road grip/handling for an at
- Aggressive/rugged appearance
Areas for Improvement
- Poor wet-road grip and especially wet braking (can feel slippery/lock up)
- Increased road noise vs highway tires
- Firm/harsh ride and heavy/less efficient feel (can impact comfort and fuel economy)

But most disappointing, after the price tag, they need to be replaced now in January 2025 @ 149000km.
I appreciate that I may be a bit of an aggressive driver but, in my opinion, to only last 42000km is shocking !

In soft sand it sat a little lower, there was slightly more resistance but you are able to apply power much more effectively and so you can drive through the resistance much more easily.
No flats! I had two flats in 15,000kms on the stock tires (off-road across/ around Australia trip) and never had a flat since.
Moved to the Maxxis RAZR AT811 which is a little better in mud, but cannot go wrong with a BFG AT KO2!
Off road it is excellent.
