Very good, very happy with these tires. As expected not great in the cold, but anywhere above a winter day and they're happy - I would say better in the cold now than when they were fresh.

Fitment comes from each tire's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

What Volkswagen Scirocco 2.0 TSI 210hp drivers say
The most recent owner reviews from this car, in their own words.
Dry grip, warm and cold, has been excellent. In colder weather and at colder temperatures I have been able to get the rear to step out briefly (on a FWD!) before ESC kicks in, at a sharp angle; vs severe understeer on the maxxis, but I attribute that to the wear.
Otherwise, in a straight line, across motorway driving, Peak District roads, and city driving, brilliant grip so far.
Not had a great amount of driving in the wet to rate, but from what I have done, seems as good as any other tire I've tried.
Road Feedback: Not an expert but I'd say you get a lot of feedback out of them.
Handling feels very good, very grippy, able to be pushed a bit.
Wear, initial 1000 miles so not really comparable, but I've had a few times I've said "hmm, have I got tread left?" while looking from afar - but that's just visual I think.
Comfort.... More "clunky" when over potholes or bad road surface, but otherwise very smooth on motorways. Not jarring but certainly not luxurious.
Buy Again: With the same car or anything with more power, I would buy either these or Michelin PS4/5/. I would probably go with an EcoContact or some similar "touring" tire for a more efficient car that I didn't intend to push.
In the UK especially Scotland we rarely ever drive in the dry so personally I'd avoid these tires unless your budget is cheaper than cheap.
I'd say these tires are fine for a low powered car and city/town driving. But any car with a bit of power or any open road spirited driving these are definitely not what you want on your car.
As for this ExtremeContactSport is just about 3-4 months/20-30k kms+- old. So i cant comment on its wear yet. But in term of performance wise, this ExtremeContactSport is way way better than MC5 in dry and wet. WAY BETTER. Theres no even squiking sound when corner or understeer/oversteer when i test it uphill Genting (Malaysia) on dry and after rain road condition. And using it as daily is not a problem as it still gives you the comfort you need. And im not complaining yet!
Nevertheless, based on the guy who suggested me this tire, Michelin PS4/PS4s will still be the best no doubt, but this tire will definitely give you enough confident that PS4/PS4s has with cheaper alternative by atleast RM150 (in malaysia). I wont recommend any tire except Continental ExtremeContactSport or the best, Michelin PS4/PS4s.
The extent of the discomfort of these tires was such that the car became unenjoyable and often unpleasant to drive. The reasonable performance and price of these tires was therefore irrelevant when considering the detrimental effect it had on the car.
I would strongly recommend not buying these tires. If you drive a Scirocco I'd recommend the P Zeros though (normal ones, not the Rosso or Nero). The feel of the car with them is fantastic and worth the extra.
