Usual Continental competence rather than excellence, but still a decent tire overall. If people think this tire is noisy, wait until they try a PS4 or Eagle F1 SuperSport. The Premium 6 is whisper quiet compared to those two in 225/40/18 size.
In common with many modern assymetric tread patterns, tramlining and aquaplaning get significantly worse as you approach the 2mm wear limit (few people ever mention that), so I will be interested to see how the Premium 6 compares to the PS4 and F1 SS when it's almost spent. The F1 SS in particular is horrendous for tramlining when it's down to 3mm.

Great tire, just as good the previous AD08R once up to running temp. Definitely recommend!

I have these tires on my Golf running 340 bhp (fwd) and they are great for launching and straight line grip due to the soft tire walls. They also perform well in the wet and feel safe on the motorway even in heavy rain. However due to the side walls being very soft they do not inspire confidence through corners. Have worn better than expected for a cheaper tire.

For the money, these a great. A little noisy, but I got a full set of big boots for my tuned Golf GTI for £180. Unless your'e Lewis Hamilton, they'll do fine. I,think they are made using the old Michelin Pilot Sport moulds, the tread pattern is identical. Good for the money.

A great trackday tire with superb grip in the dry and not too bad in the wet,wear was its downfall but thats what you get with softer compound trackday tires,would definitely buy again.

Almost unnatural wet grip and very good in the dry. They just hold and hold and fill you with plenty of confidence. Rolling resistance is quite high so fuel economy isn't great but that's not why you buy this car.
Being very soft, they don't last. I've done around 5000 miles on them and they're about halfway worn at the front; still looking pretty new on the back however.
Side walls were surprisingly soft which, considering the grip is good, isn't a bad thing for your back at all.
Al round a very good tire for a sports car.

Ok in the dry. A hint of moisture and they're hopeless! Not too noisy. Wears quite quickly. Comfortable, sidewalls soft. Wet breaking poor. Avoid.
