I've had these on my Land Cruiser for the last 4 years (only 1 winter on them, and then I got a dedicated set of snow tires). As far as paved-road performance goes, I'd say they are just average across the board. However, they are not great on corners in the wet and are a bit harsh on paved roads. I had them on for one winter, but was extremely let down. They perform average in the snow and on ice they are horrible. They are 3-peak rated, and some people rave about them in the winter, but I wasn't impressed at all. Comparing them to my Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5's they aren't even close.
Off-road is where these shine. I have taken many offroading/overlanding trips and will air down to 15-25psi depending on the terrain and how fast I'm going. They perform great on dirt and gravel roads. They are strongest on rock. They mould around rocks extremely well. They are not the best in mud. They get packed fairly easily, but I know they aren't at M/T, so I'm not expecting those results. I've never gotten a puncture or sidewall tear.
If you aren't going to off-road with these tires, I would not recommend them. Get something like the Michelin Defender.
