Tesla Model Y Long Range Tires

It grips nearly all circumstances. However at wet surfaces (with a heavy RWD EV) it can slip.
The rolling resistance is also great, so the only drawback is its price and the fast wear.

Considering its price, I think it is a very good value. Moreover the snow grip is outstanding even with a heavy EV.
Since my car is RWD only, it tends to slip at sharp and fast corners, roundabouts especially on wet surface.

I was a bit sceptical putting these on a Tesla Model Y but 2 years in I have been pleasantly surprised. I do drive quite defensively under wet conditions and the tires have never let me down. Noise level is about the same as OEM Kumhos.

Used on a 2023 Tesla Model Y. I down sized to 18" rims. I love this setup! I have the EVO AS SUV with the foam installed. These make little noise and love the look! I have not driven them in winter conditions yet... but I have heard bad things. So far I really enjoy them over the stock tire setup.

These tires were only great at the beginning. These were OEM on my Tesla Model Y LR 2024. They performed great in the dry and wet when it started at full tread. It even was able to handle light snow (1-2 inches) and slush decently well (45mph only, I was able to make it slide but still felt controlled). However that all changed when they hit 7/32. The dry braking stayed pretty much the same however the cornering abilities seemed to be fading and the corners felt extremely squishy and that I did not have as much grip as I wanted. The wet performance faded as well and I was starting to feel that the braking distance definitely took a hit however they were still safe. Snow performance is gone by 7/32. I am currently between 4/32-6/32 and am I still feel fine driving them normally and not taking any corners as hard.

I do want to note that I probably could have gotten 25k miles out of this instead of the 18k I will be getting out of them if I drove a lot less spirited and did not take every corner as fast as I could or launch the car every time I could. They do get louder as they wear and I am not sure if the foam really did anything. Also not really driven on any ice so no comment on ice performance.

These are made-in-Italy imported MCC3S tires being used in the Pacific Northwest USA. While I haven't been able to test it in the snow or ice, the grip in dry and wet both far superior to any other tire I've used on my vehicle (Tesla Model Y) including the Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus Elect, Michelin X-Ice, or the OEM Goodyear, Continental, or Hankook tires that come on this model. I am especially impressed with the hydroplaning performance at high speeds. Comfort is excellent and the tire is notably quieter at all speeds vs the Pirelli which had noise-cancelling foam technology. Road feedback is lacking when compared to a summer tire like the MPS4S but far and above any 3-peak rated tire I've used like the Hakka R5's or any Blizzak's so I gave it an 8. Looking forward to going up to the mountain and seeing how these fair in the snow this winter!

Side note, do NOT import these tires until the tariff situation is sorted out. This was a very expensive experience.

Initial impression of the tire is great. It is indeed sporty and the feel is really good. I tested the CC3S head to head against the hankook ventus s1 evo3 and there was no difference in comfort and noise - so I am really impressed.

I've had these tires on my car from new and they are now hitting 40,000 miles and still going strong. Excellent wear and longevity - still have another 5-6000 life in them but will be swapping out for Crossclimate 3 Sport this winter as driving to the Alps otherwise would have happily bought the same tires again. Plenty of grip and responsive handling for daily driving and some spirited B roads. Never aquaplaned even in inches deep standing water. Does understeer very slightly if aggressive turn in on wet roads but quick to regain control. Main negative is the minimal comfort as the road imperfections are directly transmitted to the cabin (although that may well be the car's suspension design) and they are not very quiet unless on perfect tarmac.

I have these on my 2021 Tesla Model Y. I bought the car used with 39k miles and I am now at 50k miles. If these are original, they have not worn out bad at all. If they were replaced, that The tires have a weird peeling in the face of the tire which is crazy since I don’t drive it like I stole it. Tires are maintained at the correct pressure and the peeling is on both sides.

These Hankook tires came with my Model Y. On 3 separate occasions the outer part of the tire has delaminated from the inner part causing a bubble in the tire. This leads to severe vibration so it is pretty obvious. Only solution is to replace the tire, which I've now done 3 times. In Scotland we have a lot of rough roads and pot holes so maybe that's why but I have never had this with any other vehicle or tire. Also, comfort I find to be awful. Compared to the Pirelli winter tires that I fit seasonally the Hankook is very harsh and uncomfortable over rough road surfaces. I'd steer clear unless you live in mainland Europe where there are no potholes.

Had these fitted to a Model Y about 4 months ago, just as good in the summer if not better than the Hankook Ventura S1 Evo that came on the car. With the recent snow/ice we have had they have been impeccable, while others skidded into kerbs and were unable to climb steep slopes or pull out of junctions we managed to go round them no problem. Fresh snow, no problem. Icy car parks where it’s almost impossible to walk on, no problem. More importantly they managed to stop the car like it was dry.
Well done Hankook, they do what they say they will.
The only problem is being stuck behind everyone else with their part worn slicks.

Fitted to Tesla Model Y as I had a blowout of the original Hankook S1 Evo3 tire.

Whilst these are not sound absorbing tires, they are quieter than the sound absorbers.

An excellent feel in wet or dry & at £95 fitted, are a great replacement.
