Porsche Macan Diesel S Tire Review Highlights
I'm actually reviewing the Wingard Sport 3 SUV version of the tire since I haven't found any online and it's a staggered setup with the fronts being 245/55R20. It has been 1 month since I've installed the tires, mostly it has been driving in the dry and wet, so far, we only had 1 day of snow and temperatures have ranged from -6 °C to +12 °C. I drive a mix of town, country roads and motorway. I won't be comparing it to my previous tires because they were installed in different rims (also 20in) and it's not fair to compare old used tires with brand new ones.
The TLDR is I highly recommend this tire and would definitely buy them again.
I haven't found any weakness, very solid performance on all the conditions I've driven so far, never once I felt the car hadn't enough grip, even in greasy conditions. Surprisingly, the steering feedback and car agility is excellent and pretty much on par with my summer Bridgestone Potenza tires.
Regarding comfort, the tires are quiet up to motorway speeds, obviously a bit louder than summer tires, and are very so slightly harder than my summer tires, in sum the overall comfort is very good.
The fuel consumption has also been a pleasant surprise, with lower average consumption of 0,2 L/100km than my previous tires.
The cherry on top is the price; the other options I was looking for were the equivalent Falken, Toyo or Hankook, all of them would cost me at least 300€ more for the set and I couldn't imagine they would be any better. For me this is a hidden gem of a tire, it's not just a great tire for the price, it's a great tire period.
About wear and ice grip I can't say much as I haven't driven it enough and there weren't proper icy conditions this year yet.

These came as a no cost option OEM on my Porsche Macan S Diesel. They were described as All Season but I believe they are sold in some markets as only Summer tires. I found them to be predictable, comfortable and incredibly long lasting. In all the time I had them I only saw the traction control light come on once, and never any surprises going into tightening bends or roundabouts, dry or wet.
After 65,000 miles on the original set I sold the car with 3 mm on each tire, even without being able to rotate them (fronts are 235/55, rears 255/50). It might have been because they were N0 rated (Porsche spec) but they rode well, never harsh with plenty of communication. In hindsight they did occasionally float over a succession of bumps, but I only realised this when my Macan S replacement with 21" 295/35 arrived, and copes with the same section of road without any lurching. This might be due to the reduced tire wall though. Personally I would not hesitate to have them again. Worth the extra money every time and highly recommended

My Porsche Macan (with air/suspension/drive management) was fitted with this tire from new. They have performed brilliantly on all surfaces and in all conditions and never let me down feeling exceptionally safe and in touch with the road. I have just replaced the rears (dominant driving wheels) despite them having ample legal tread and restored quiet controlled running. Michelin Latitude Tour HP are well suited M + S tires for my car - recommended.

Best all round tire we've ever had - over 40,000 miles of hardish driving & still going strong although rears are now worn out - unfortunately Michelin no longer make an 'all season tire' in R20 295/40 size!! I wonder why - guess it;s because they last TOO long!

Hankooks were on my car when I bought it brand new. Have just clicked over 20k (12,500 miles) and the all four tires are needing to be changed. Maybe it is a heavy car/SUV but used to own a heavier Volvo XC60 with Toyo's and they lasted much longer than this. Tires showed even wear over the whole tread and balance and alignment were not an issue. Unfortunately due to wear, would not buy again.
