Opel Vectra C 1.9CDTi 150bhp Tire Review Highlights
These tires are simply on another level on snow and ice, can't recommend them enough.
On dry, they are decent for a snow tire, but could be better. The water evacuation is amazing.
Amazing tire overall for its price and wear.

very noisy, poor comfort over bumps, very bad handling, average rest and good price
Tigar is Mischelin

Very good on dry, acceptable performance on wet roads.
Fairly cheap summer tire if you are not very demanding driver

Tire performs good both on dry and wet roads and is excellent on snow and icy roads.
Great price/performance. Would buy again

These tires are excellent. The grip is good on both surfaces, dry and wet. I have tested them on a race track for a safe driving lessons (abs braking good, dry cornering good, wet cornerning good, no front side wheels understeering, no back side wheels understeering) . I have made about 10.000 km in the winter and there is no sing of wear, tires are the same as new.
They are not noisy tires. I recommend them.

I've had these tires on my Opel Vectra C station wagon for about 4 years now.
The tire might be good for lighter cars, but since Vectra weighs about 1600 kg unloaded, these tires had a tough job keeping the car rolling... They are too weak for this car. It felt like the car was floating on water while on dry road. I tried different air pressures and in the end I had to get them up to 3.3 bar to keep the car from giving me sea-sickness.
Wet grip is also one of the issues these tires don't seem to handle well. Aquaplaning happened quite often, even at lower speeds (70 km/h).
They don't have a rim-protection edge.
In "sporty" or spirited moments, the tire gives very little feedback about what is going on with the wheels. The sides are soft and car seems to tilt a lot (even after going -30 mm + stiffer shocks on all four corners last year).
On the other hand, they were cheap, so this is a plus. Also, they wear quite slow (on our cra**y roads in Slovenia).
Would I buy them again? No. Specially not for a heavy car like my Vectra.
p.s. Father in law has these on a Citroen Picasso mk1 and is quite satisfied. Lighter, softer car. And a lighter right foot, too :)

I've bought them last year (06/2015) and they were excellent. In my opinion dry and wet grip were perfect. Only once, at a motorway when I was going 165km/h I felt aquaplaning for a second. I've never felt scared to drive during the heavy rain. Dry grip is also perfect, litlle bit more than 100km/h on a curve entering motorway wasn't a problem. For me & my wife they weren't loud, even better than Conti SportContact 3. My set lasted 35000km, I think it's a decent result. (Unfortunately I can't compare they wear to other, because those Conti weren't new, when I bought them). Now they are about 2mm, but even at the end of using them, I didn't feel any problems.
I'd definitely buy them again, moreover I think I'll buy next two sets of them, for me and my dad. Hovewer I'm considering also Nokian zLine and Falken Azenis FK510, just to try sth other.

Price/performance ratio is outstanding. I had my doubts about this tire but after 15000 miles I had great road feedback, and dry braking and driving. On wet surface tire was average, but I never lost traction. And wear... After this mileage I am still well above legal limit. Definetly buy it again.

Replaced Vredestein Sessantas (fronts lasted 20000 miles) with these so I can compare them. Both are XL versions. Definitely softer sidewalls compared to Sessantas, not very much but noticeable. That caused to increased comfort a bit but of course costed some feedback. You can feel this while cornering, Sessantas were rock hard and it was like driving on rails. The great pros of Vortis is road noise, Sessantas were making terribly noisy, now finally it really quiet inside. Wear also seems to be much better. If you are fine with loosing only a bit of steering for less road noise and better wear you should go for Vortis. I would, thats why I m about to buy them for my new car now.
