Mazda CX 60 Tire Review Highlights
Main problem with above tires on my CX 60 is that all four tires are splitting on the walls and treads at junction corners both externally and internally facing the floor panel, this problem has existed within a few months of purchase when the vehicle was new, Mazda say there is nothing wrong with them and are safe to drive on, the car has done less than 10k miles in 3years but driven regularly. Mazda local dealer has offered to change the tires at my expense and send them to Bridgestone for inspection and testing and depending on results may partly compensate me !! So I have to spend nearly £800 to go through this process while the vehicle is under the Mazda warranty. Mazda UK have not been helpful at all in recognising the problem.

I own a Mazda CX-60 PHEV. Standard it is delivered with Bridgestone Alenza 001 235 50 100W tires. I think they are very hard and noisy and make the condition of the road very noticeable in the whole car. During a repair of my car the dealer gave me the same (demo) car with Toyo Proxes tires. A big big difference!! Later a read a review on the cx60 forum with the same subject, I agree to the conclusion; the Bridgestone is a good but not comfortable tire with a high noise level. Mayby it is the combination with the specific suspension of the car which is also “sporty” but the choice for the tire makes a big difference in this car.
