Fitment comes from each tire's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

I've driven the tires in the winter, but on roads devoid of snow and ice so I can't comment on that. They made me feel very secure, however, I have to say that they are far too sporty for my driving style and needs. They carry a lot of responsibility for my decision to buy the car, as they are very comfortable, quiet and make the car feel very surefooted and responsive in the dry and in the wet.
There is one gripe, though, they have absolutely no rim protection, so I blame them for all the scratching on my wheels. I would expect more from a tire of this class from a reputable brand, and, honestly, it is a strong enough reason (albeit the only one) for me not to buy them again. In every other aspect they are brilliant, they even equal summer tires in fuel consumption.

This is the sportiest summer tire I've ever driven (with the possible exception of Goodyear Assymetric 2), and I am not a very sporty driver anymore ... they just came with the car. They are very responsive and, in the mostly non-extreme circumstances i have put them in, stick to the surface very well in the dry and in the wet, which is not at all surprising. What is, though, is how comfortable and quiet they are. I am using them on a Honda Civic Hybrid and they are contributing to a very comfortable ride even on very rough roads, handling them better than my old Citroen C5. Wet grip is a totally different experience from my last ichelins 25 years ago which made me steer away from the brand ever since.
I basically use the car on motorways, but some local winding B roads sometimes tease me into giving the car a workout and the tires are very secure (although I cannot say I reach any sort of limit with them).

I drove in all conditions, extreme heat (up to 40°C), wet from violent storms, alpine dirt roads, mountain roads (wet and dry), motorways and extra-urban roads and in all conditions I felt like I was driving on two tracks, such was the road holding

These tires came on the car when I bought it new. I can not wait to replace them. These are the worst tires I think I have ever had on any car. They lose grip on dry pavement and have almost no grip on wet pavement. In snow, forget it. I have about a 10 degree incline on my driveway and the tires start to spin as soon as I start up to the garage. My wife's car is the same model as mine but a couple years older. I have no problem driving her car into the garage on snowy days. She has a different brand of tires on her car.

Who does the testing

Every test published as a Tire Reviews test is run by Jonathan Benson, who has been testing tires independently since 2007.
