Writing about the Continental UltraContact UC6 given 80% (230-55-19-)

It is outstanding performance in the wet weather compared to the preivous mid-high end sets of FALKEN or Bridgestone. It is easy crossing the kerb and slats while the hending is sensational. You will have confident to cut the sharp corners and sudden stop on the mark. The only cons might be the wear.

Having a second set.
The first set still lot of treadwear left after 3 years , 50000km but some peeling appeared at the edge. Riding is reasonable, an annoying high pitch sound persisted throughout the life span.
It yielded 8.9/100km on my 2016 XC90, which was incredible.
The second set is AC tire with a block of foam inside and along the rim.
The moment it got on my SUV, I thought I was driving a totally different car.
The high pitch noise totally disappeared. The riding comfort improved tremendously.
The only drawback is that mileage dropped to 9.4L/100km.

Horrible tires! I have had to replace one due to sensor damage and screwed by dealer who charged 400$ and plug two of the remaining four tires. Whoever wrote that low profile tires are no more susceptible to road hazards are full of you know what. VERY upset I can not rely on my 60,000$ dollar ride. 2016 XC90. I now need to replace all four tires and not covered under warranty

Excellent tire, excellent feedback, excellent handling.

Cant comment yet on wet peformance - no rain!!!!

Cant comment yet on wear performance - only been on the car for a month!!!

Far far better than the Michelin Diamaris that I had previously fitted all round, better price and better road feel. Certainly wont be going with Michelin ever again.
