Porsche Boxster 987.2 Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Hankook Ventus S1 evo 3 given 56% (235-40-18-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 spirited miles
As I bought the Boxster as my new car back in the summer of 2020, it needed new tires and I decided to switch old N-rated Pilot Sports for the Hankook Ventus S1 evo 3. Had some experience with the evo 2 and liked them, so I gave these a shot. I would not ever buy it as a UHP tire although it grips very well both dry and wet. The steering feel is just terrible and soft, you don't feel much through the tire and the rear end had a wobbly behaviour. I could not trust it. The grip is excellent, but sportiness is hardly there. Later, I put Goodyear Super Sports and I could instantly trust them. I could send it into a corner with more confidence.

Writing about the Pirelli P Zero given 44% (235-40-18-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 4000 miles
I had Pirelli P Zero fitted to the front axle 235/40/18 After only 4000 and 3.25 months there were scrubbed. Diabolical I could not believe it, a so called premium tire wearing out in no time at all. Never again
