Writing about the Tigar Syneris given 69% (195-55-16-)

Better than Kumho that I had before, despiste being more worn. Switched the tigar to the front as I couldnt stand driving the new kumho's on front anymore. Nice feeling on dry roads, inserts easily on bends. Gives an elevated riding, due to tire structure. Confortable, and quiet, but with apparent high resistance to rolling (not good for fuel economy). Prone to blockage in wet when braking, where it disapoints. Despiste being with correct pressure, having passed its mid life, adds unpleasant vibrations to your steering, which a recalibration partly solved. Recommended if you mainly driver on dry, and on its first 4 mm of rubber. Overall a decent, fair european tire

Avoid, deadly in cold wet conditions.

Just had the tires fitted and I am very pleased, nice and quiet on dry roads, excellent in the wet. now I need to test them in the snow. I have worked in the tire trade for 40 plus years and I think Michelin are on to a winner with these tires. It would be nice to see these fitted as o.e on cars in the future.

First of all, you're not going to get top-whack quality on a tire of this price, but these aren't far short.
Fitted these to the two front wheels in replacement for the stock 'michelin Energy's'... I, like other people, wasnt willing to pay £300 for something that COULD cost me £130 if I was to be a little less picky. I opted for the Bravuris on recommendation from a friend who works at a tire garage, and I'm glad I listened! The Barums are really responsive. They take a little longer than the Michelins to warm up, but once they're at a good temperature, the grip is great, whether its dry or wet. I've covered a little over 9000 miles on these now, and I still have around 6mm of tread left. Admittedly, a lot of my driving is motorway, but a do my fair share of A & B road driving, and often suffer from a 'lead foot'.
I had these tires on through the snow too (I know they're a Summer tire) and they performed flawlessly, especially for a tire which is not for this purpose. I really would recommend these to anyone looking for a good compromise to the top-range tires, without forking out silly money! Hope you find this review useful.
