I bought a new set of Wanli tires for my Mazda 2009. To my surprise, they were beyond qualified to have the image of cheap China tires. It is true that they are cheaper compared to other tires, but exactly the reason why we should buy Wanli tires because it's good quality! I went on a road trip and trusted Wanli tires with mine and my loved ones' lives, and Wanli hasn't failed me since. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Good grip, good comfort, good traction, and great price! It's a win-win, really.

As the previous reviewer report, much the same and not the grip I was expecting especially with the road surface being under 7c since I've bought them. Bit unfair to do a review with so little mileage, however tires usually scrub in after 100 miles and the amount of wheel spin from just above idle rev's should have seen to that by now!! Was quite surprised especially as only 170bhp/170lb torque. However I do feel cornering and braking grip are better than normal rubber so something's right. Its just the wheel spin from junctions and roundabouts that's disappointing (no better than normal tires) and I do drive with a light right foot. I think I'll need to give them a couple more months to bed in and hopefully some ice/snow/slush and give a complete appraisal. I'll report back/re-rate in Feb2014.

Driving on mostly motorways for 17000 spirited miles
Almost immediately after I bought the car new, I replaced the original-equipment Dunlop SP Sport 2050 with this. I was especially eager to replace the 2050s after they tried to kill me on a winding road in western Saudi Arabia I drive twice every weekend and know by heart. The Hankooks made a world of difference. They could use a little more road feel and directional stability (my car has electric power steering, as opposed to hydraulic on my older 2005 Mazda 6 2.3), but these tires are exceptional in performance. I use on a 1,200-mile round trip every single weekend, rain or shine (more shine than rain in Saudi Arabia), and the Hankooks never missed a beat. So far so good. Also, like almost all summer tires I used, they seem to perform better the hotter the weather is. I noticed that below about 24 degrees Celsius, they tend to get disinterested - almost plasticky, with reduced grip and responsiveness. In 40+ weather, though, they're as sticky as chewing gum. In terms of value for money, they just can't be beaten.
