Lexus ES300H Tires

Currently one year old factory tires on Lexus ES 300h are terrible since beginning. Car drives better on winter set on wet in 10deg C than on those summers. I was experiencing understeer driving on runabouts behind van. Mediocre on dry: some understeer, terrible on wet, but quiet, comfortable, probabbly coumpound aging well, but bad from beginning.

Now almost 1K km after first installation replacing my Pilot Sports 5. I am sharing my experience in direct comparison to the PS5. Impressed with how tires maintain grip on exceptionally wet road conditions (am from the tropical world). Going over a puddle of water made me realised that the car does not experience as much drag as my previous PS5. Great water dispersion / evacuation. Aqua planning resisting is good, and that is of paramount importance.
Handling and feel are not as good as PS5, at least to me, a small sacrifice as i am not exactly an aggressive driver. I put emphasis on safety, comfort and durability.
Rolling resistance is obvious, something you can feel, not just a number or a factor given by the manufacturer. It glided smoothly on the road, and as a bonus, tires are so quiet and feels so supple, my car is now super comfy.
I have been driving over 40 years, and have used numerous tires made by major brands (i will spare you the details) and i can attest that the Primacy P5 is the best set of tires i have used todate, PROVIDED, that they last as long as what Michelin claimed.
But until then, I am fully loving those new tires whole heartedly.

My Lexus came with these tires as original equipment. I live in a rainy area, and I can only say that they are terrible in wet conditions—slippery, prone to aquaplaning, etc. I would not recommend them to anyone.

These must be the worst tires I have ever had for road / tire noise in the cabin. Came standard on the car but had to remove them and put Michelin Primacy 4+ on the car to get any decent peace in the cabin. Cannot understand why Lexus would use such tires.
