I am now on my second winter season with these tires and i remain very impressed. They are excellent in the snow but even in colder frosty and icy weather they remain useful and a significant improvement over my summer tires. They really inspire confidence and I'd really like to see more eople driving with tires like this in the UK during winter as it would help to make our roads safer. I am particularly impressed with both the low noise and fuel consumption which has not reduced significantly which was a surprise. Overall and excellent tire and I would definitely buy again.
In run flat form without doubt the worst tire I have ever experienced bar some obscure Chinese budget tire. Noisy, hard riding and follow all the lines in the road they have nothing to commend them. Sold them on Ebay after 2500 miles and brought proper tires.
Bought a full set of 4 to replace the awful Bridgestone RE040 runflats on my 1 series even though they only had 2500 miles on them! BMW recommended them as an alternative tire and I opted to go non-runflat and haven't looked back. Early days with just a few K on them but so far they seem grippier than the Bridgestones, better in the wet and so much more comfortable and quieter. Fuel consumption has also improved too. They aren't the sportiest tires in the world but for real world driving they seem very good and more than up the the job of the occasional sporty drive. Don't confuse these tires with the older P7, these are great tires and I would recommend. I'll come back again and see if I this still stands as I come to the end of the life of the tires.
