Given 88% while driving a Audi A4 Avant B9 (225/50 R17) on mostly motorways for 20,000 average miles
I fitted a set of 4 225 50 17 94Y On a 2023 Audi A4 Avant after removing the original pirelli blue tires that didn't ride smoothly. They are a great all-round tire in dry and wet low road noise on most surfaces and good ride comfort after 20,000 miles I've rotated the tires and think I could get another 10,000 miles as I've 5mm front and 3.7 mm rear I would recommend

Great on city streets when you need the tires to be responsive even when cold. Great when warm on mountain roads and out of town, but they last 30,000 miles and then cracks appeared, one of them is losing air and I lost faith in them. I now drive sensibly and carefully to wear the tires while looking to change them.

Given 94% while driving a Audi A4 2.0 TDI 140 SLine (245/40 R18) on a combination of roads for 16,000 average miles
Probably the best tires I've ever had on my daily and they saved my life.

In the dry they offer decent feedback and good grip for minimal road noise, great for long journeys.
In the wet there was no aquaplaning if driving at sensible speeds for the road I was on.
They were very progressive at the limit and you would know when the front end was close to sliding when pushing it on (useful for Audi owners...).
Wear was very even across the tread, nearside shoulder was at 1.6 mm and the main body was approx. 2 mm.

On the life saving bit, I was doing 100 km/h and a van appeared over a blind crest on the wrong side of the road. I decelerated from 100 - 0, easily within the 33 metres claimed by magazines. I've put a new set on the car and won't have anything else on the daily going forward.

There's a new all season tire, can it be best?!
Given 99% while driving a Audi A4 Avant Quattro 204PS (S + BE) (245/35 R19) on a combination of roads for 10 average miles
Been driving for many decades but last 10 years I used to buy Vredestein until their quality dropped, so tried a few other cars with different tires, and saw the Goodyear Assy 5's were very good. The new version Assy 6's came out so decided to use on my previous car and the results were excellent. Now have on my Audi A4 Quattro and they are utterly superb, especially when you need them (emergency stuff and poor weather). I was worried about the wear after reading all the comments which I always research, but I find the wear excellent for application (sporty will wear more than touring etc). I strongly recommend these tires which even impress my comrades with tire-specific sports cars when I let them drive mine. Whatever the new methods of manufacture and materials, it works well on these.

Given 57% while driving a BMW X1 25D Xdrive (225/50 R17) on a combination of roads for 3,100 spirited miles
I was initially interested in this tire from the reviews both from our man, and from other sources. I was initially pleased by the comfort and the grip in general but surprised by a behavior I noticed only on this tire: the load shift on a fast bend, especially if you touch the brakes, is so bad I need to correct on the steering, something that I never had to do on any other tire on this car, both runflat and not. Makes it feel like the car’s suspension is suddenly perished, this at 2,2bar (front) and 2,3 bar (rear). Things got better by raising the pressure significantly, now it’s at 2,5/2,7 and the tire feels much better, but still does that thing on fast bends, especially on a particular narrow bend downhill. I hate it and this alone would not make me choose this tire again, it never happened with other brand and tires and I had Conti Sport Contact 5, Falken (not UHP), Yokohama V105… i think it could be due to the rigidity of the sidewall, but go figure

Given 94% while driving a Alfa Romeo Giulietta (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 25,000 average miles
Honesty, the most competent tire in all aspects of driving dry or wet doesn't matter. I am also impressed in terms of wear. In the beginning I was a bit sceptical due to small initial tread depth and somehow heavy wear, but after 25.000 miles , 2 rotations and careful monitoring of pressures, all four tires have 3.5 to 4 mm of tread depth.
This means that I can easily extract another 5 to 8 thousand miles ,having the same secure and occasionally sporty feeling out of them.
The only thing that is a little worse after the 2nd year of use is that they have become kind of hard over small imperfections of the road but that might also be because of suspension components wearing as well.
Price is also quite competitive here in Greece, so I will definitely buy them again.

Given 87% while driving a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR (235/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 2,000 spirited miles
I have an Evo 8 MR, I have always had Bridgestone RE003's as I know these tires worked well enough on the car and it was a safe call for me, since changing out tires isn't a cheap exercise. However I was looking to change to PS5's for this car, but these Asym 6's came up on sale for around $600 for all 4, I just couldn't say no. These tires have greatly improved my car especially over the RE003, safe to say I will never be purchasing RE003's again. The dry grip on these is amazing and at cornering speeds where the RE003's would screech, these tires are silent.
The wet grip on these are day and night, although I was in an AWD car I had to tread lightly in the wet as RE's would slip very very easy. I can now almost drive like it's dry in wet conditions.

These replaced some Michelin Pilot Sport 4's on the rear of my car and these have been a revelation. Lots of grip in both wet and drive, comfortable and more progressive when putting the power down. I'm very impressed.

Great overall tire. After 1 season and 15.000km they are down to 6mm, so i guess they will last 2 more season at least .

Given 93% while driving a Volkswagen Golf MK4 GTTDI 150 (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 15,000 spirited miles
Bought the Asymmetric 6 based on opinions found on this site, fitted them 2 years ago on a Golf Mk4. I drive spirited when I can and like to push things 'a bit'. Probably done around 20.000 till now, still got meat on them for another year or 2, so they wear just fine. Only praise words for this tire, dry grip is insane for the price ( which was the main factor when purchasing ). Comfort is great, they are not noisy at all. Braking ( especially in the dry ) is very good.
Don't think rolling resistance is a problem here, I don't seem to get much worse fuel economy when switching from 15inch winter tires. ( Say my average is 5.2l/100km, 4500km trip to Italy last year got me 5.4l/100km. 6000km Turkey trip this year got me a bit more, but that is probably from the rooftop and bigger fuel pump/injector/turbo I installed not long ago ).
Harder cornering in the wet does not inspire me that much confidence, that is the only 'minus' I can think of. Aquaplaning is good tho.
Definetly would buy again if they don't get the Asymmetric 7s till these wear out. Best tires for the money I have driven on hands down.

This tire is amazing. Dry and wet grip is superb. Driving at heavy rain 160km/h is like being on train tracks. Understeer, oversteer... Never heard of that.

Given 89% while driving a Volvo V40 T3 Cross country (225/45 R18) on a combination of roads for 20,000 easy going miles
Got a full set of A6, I now need to replace the two front tires after 2 years and approx. 20'000 miles. I am driving a Volvo V40 Cross Country, I tend to try gentle but fast.

The wear of the tires ended up being stronger on the inside, maybe they weren't perfectly balanced after sustaining a nail in the tire a few months back.
Just in the process of ordering 2 new A6 tire for the Volvo.

The back tires hopefully have another 10'000 miles in them.
