I bought these to replace my 245/40/19 F1A3, the older tires were a step over sized in terms of aspect ratio compared to factory setting due to concern over comfort, and the older F1A3 were at 32,000 km when replaced due to a puncture. At that point these tires probably would still had around 5K left.
The F1A5 I bought these time were correct and lower profile 245/35/19, I was initially concerned over ride quality but the F1A5, even at a lower profile (at 35 vs previous F1A3's 40), provided similar level of comfort but somewhat more feedback than the taller F1A3 I replaced.
Dry grip and steering response seems to be better and sharper, not sure if they were the result of improvement in design or just being lower profile. Wet grip seems to be similar compared to F1A3. The overall grip, dry or wet, is more than good for my usage (I think any tire in these category do) as I do not drive aggressively.
Somewhat surprisingly, I felt the older F1A3 seems to be a little quieter, in fact, the F1A3 was surprisingly quiet even at the tail end of its service life. The new F1A5 isn't noisy, but I was slightly disappointed but it isn't any quieter, maybe the difference in profile played a part, maybe not.
Over all, I am happy with F1A5, especially for its ride comfort and noise level even at 35 profile, which was my major concern towards selecting a tire.

Excellent tire in wet conditions. Good steering feel as well as good dry handling with only a little bit of understearing tendency. Even after 20000km the rear tires (245/35 R18) show little wear. Overall good comfort for a high performance tire. Definitely recommended for a lot of milage and any sporty car.

Bought to replace the old Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetric 2 which lasted 35.000 km in 4 years of mixed use.
They are superior on every aspect, dry and wet grip, noise and even feedback. I cannot comment on the wear since it's too early but goodyear promises longer life so that's another plus. Once they get up to temperature (and that here in Greece during summer doesn't take long) they stick to the tarmac and give you a lot of confidence in the corners.
Rolling resistance is pretty great too, with the proper air pressure they reduce the fuel consumption by ~5%, giving me 6,5 to 7 L /100km on an awd audi at 120km/h cruising speed.
I would really recommend them to anyone who is driving his car regularly relaxed but with moments of spirited driving. They won't disappoint and will keep you safe.

Absolutely amazing tires for the money. With the Asymmetric 5 Goodyear really have cemented themselves at the top of the UHP game. These wheels I bought for my BMW came with Asymmetric 2s on them which I used for a while before replacing with the 5s. They were so good anyway that I knew I had to replace them with Goodyears and in this short time they’ve become my favourite, and now go-to, tire.
Dry handling - Unbelievable amounts of grip, very progressive at the limit. Feedback does start to drop off a bit during really high speed handling situations however you still get a good and reassuring idea of what the front wheels are doing. I’ve been able to attack corners at truly silly speeds without losing grip, all on private roads of course...
Subjective handling - As mentioned, great feedback and progressiveness, they don’t roll over on the sidewall nearly as much as the older Asymmetric 2s did.
Wet handling - Much the same as above, just with lowered grip levels as with any wet driving experience. Amazing grip considering the wet road, when they do lose grip they’ve never caught me out due to the amazing amount of progressiveness. Obviously, they won’t have an ultimate grip level in the wet as high as say a Uniroyal Rainsport for example, however they do amazingly well compared to cheaper UHPs and especially considering what a great dry tire they are.
Wear - Too early to say really as they’ve only been on the car for a few hundred miles, however all the data out there shows them to be on par with all the top brands, even Michelin, which used to have the advantage in wear. The Asymmetric 2s fitted on these wheels previously had lasted from 2017 until now, so I can tell they’re going to be pretty impressive in the wear department.
Comfort - Very very quiet and comfortable tires, obviously they’re probably a bit less comfortable than more comfort orientated tires out there but my preference is for a sporty, pointy tire, which the Asymmetric 5 delivers perfectly while still retaining comfort and refinement.
In summary, I believe the constant ‘just get the Michelins’ is no longer a valid option. I’ve heard from recent reviews that the Pilot Sport 4 has become a bit more comfort orientated than other top UHP competitors and no longer has the wear advantage of previous models. This is why I went with the Goodyears. I also like the good amount of rim protection and the design of the sidewall lettering, if you’re weird like me and that sort of thing matters to you. The only tire I’d consider in it’s place would be the Continental Premiumcontact 6, however, the Goodyears were roughly £10 a corner cheaper than the Continentals, and therefore I believe they offer the best performance for the money of any tire out there at the moment.

Had pilots on and got a good 25k miles out of them, thought I would give these ago, I'm just about to change them out at 17k as just over 1m over the marker left, found them also a bit Skippy on some bend at speed, don't get me wrong they were OK but I guess I expected more from the brand, would I buy again, nope but will give other brands a try.

Bought them brand new. Good dry and wet grip. They are noisy tires and comfort is kinda worse compared to Pirelli Cinturato P7 which I had before. Overall definitely a good tire.
I'd probably buy them again, even more if they improve noise in the next revision.

Just came off a set of MPS4 to these because of the hype and that super simple and efficient looking tread pattern. (I love the classic 4 channel sports tire look)
Bear in mind I am comparing these brand new GY to a 73kkm worn PS4 and I found the ride comfort to be slightly harsh for a brand new tire. Ride comfort is my priority for this car at the moment.
It’s now been 2000km since purchase and I can confirm that the ride comfort is inferior to the PS4, in agreement with Tirereviews recent comparison. Had I known this before I would have stuck with PS4 or tried the Primacy 4.

Too early to comment on wear. Otherwise these suit the car very well, car is very composed and also much quieter than original Continentals. I have winter tires on other wheels so these tires are not used during the cold wet winter months, but on wet roads they are excellent. Road feedback is fine but then the S4 steering is a bit damped - all good but no E46 M3. Without hesitation I would buy again.
