very good grip in dry, excellent in wet conditions, highly communicative and progressive tire, fantastic directional attributes (breaking, traction), very durable (got over 24k miles/38.5k km out of the front pair before hitting the indicators, rear ones has still about 1/3 tread left)
Very few tires on the market can beat this rubber, and I am talking about ones costing twice as much or more
Hope Falken will live long and prosper

A great tire for the price. Why it's so cheap i'll never know!! I got rid of a set of Michelin PS2's as I couldn't afford them again, thank god I couldn't! These tires are as good if not better than the PS2's and almost as good as Eagle F1 asymetrics but for a fraction of the price.
Faultless.

Replaced the lethal LingLongs this car was bought with, perhaps that makes for an unfair review: black bin bags balled up and glued to the rims would have been a billion times better than those Chinese monstrosities. Anyway, the Falkens - lots of grip, very consistent and safe in the wet. The daft suspension set-up on this Sport version of the A4 2.0FSI is pretty hard on tires generally - steering can tram-line, or fall to bias, easily and any change in tire pressures exaggerates these problems. Even with that issue, the Falkens feel safe and likely to look after you in an extreme situation. Good tires and well recommended.

I bought these to replace the ContiSportContact3 tires on the front of my Octavia. I must say I was sceptical as they were half the price of the Contis, however, my scepticism was soon short-lived. Others had advised me to take it easy for the first 2-300 miles, so once I passed that threshold I could test them more thoroughly. In the dry they are as good as the Contis - sure-footed and grippy in the fast sweeping bends. In the wet, they're not quite as good as the Contis, but there's still plenty of grip and plenty of warning when you overstep the mark, usually in the form of very slight, gentle understeer. They seem a lot quieter than the tires they replaced, but that could be because the last set were down to the markers! Overall, they seem comfortable and grippy, and all at a great price. I would certainly buy them again, although for an extra ?20 per tire, if I feeling flush I might try the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta, as I've only heard good things about them too.

I bought two of these tires after i had my car for a couple of months, i only had really cheap tires on and so i put the new tires on the front through the winter, 2 weeks ago i thought i would swap the as new falkens to the back so they could last a bit longer, so i must admit i bought these as i read all the good reviews about them, i think their the best rated tires on this site, the grip in the summer is brilliant, i drive average but sometimes i do put my foot down and get the revs a bit high, im no nutter though, ive never actually wheel spun these wheels in summer or dry conditions, pulling off from maybe 4 - 6 k revs. so as my cheap tires are on the front now, i never ever thought i would feel such a difference, im actually scared to go out driving when its wet with the cheap tires on the front, cant pull away in more than 3 - 4 k revs without really spinning the wheels. car feels like it wants to go everywhere without the falkens on the front. the difference is just astronomical! im deffinitely getting these falkens again and actually i am really thinking of getting them on the front asap! check out value tires . co . u k to get the best deals i have found, what you need to do is see if they have a branch near you that fit them, and go to them and tell them you can get these from camskill . co . uk for ?52.00 each and they will match the price for u, including delivery to them and fittment.

A big car for the family, and i drive long distance for work, but when i get the chance spend the day playing! and although not really the car for hard bends. i used to spend alot on rubber thinking that at least on the motorway i'm saving my penny's. my friend and i (same car)have been through a few (tz200,mich sport,sportrac3, and the fantastic Eagle F1 GSD3)you can only compare the fk452's to the eagle f1's and for the price they win big time.it will be a hard job to take these away from me although i might try uniroyal rainsport 2's next, for a simular price. FK's have great grip, wearing well and more importantly for me day to day great wet grip(though just short of the mich sport's)i would recommend these to anyone in fact my mate now has them on his audi V6. althogh the F1's give better feedback and on the limit info(just), the falkens overall just take it. the only issue i had was for the first 300 or so mile's they really need bedding in as what ever's coating them wear's off.finally these are the best so far for keeping a fairly powerfull, heavy, rear wheel drive car straight, off the line.still makes me smile when the teenage boy racer is in the rear view!!

I decided to take a risk on these when the original B'stone Potenza RE040's needed replacing, seeing as they were nearly half the price & getting good reviews - and I'm delighted I did! The difference in unreal, for comfort, they blow the b'stones outa the water, for the first 1-200mls they feel like your driving on tires made of candlewax but once they wear in the grip is fantastic, easily as good as the b'stones and the wet grip is even better, taking bends in the wet at 70mph woohoo!! They're not dangerous though, they'll let you know when you're at the limit well before letting go of the road. Haven't used them on a track yet or drifted with them so can't review them for that, but I've been recommending them to everyone looking for a really good performance tire that won't break the bank.

Used these tires for my car for about two years. I was driving on any roads apart frrom tracks. I would like to say that these have a very good grip on any weather condition apart from winter as these are summer tires. The tread is wearing quite quick. After 10,000 miles one pair had only 3mm left. It is quite noise, but gives very good grip.

Nice looking tire, decent tread pattern, looks just as good as the leading brands and does just as good as job. Have only had them on for a short time so can't comment as to their life span but very happy so far. Would definately recommend them for value for money. A great tire at a reasonable price.

I have a rica tuned Volvo 850 so it will always be tricky for a tire to deal with a FWD chassis and 420NM of Torque. I decided to try the Falken FK452 instead of spending big money on Goodyear, Dunlop, Pirelli etc. Quite a sexy looking tire but little sidewall portection Dry grip was terrible for the first couple of hundred miles but this seems to settled now to 'average' Not a patch on my old 205/50R16 SP01 Dunlops on the original wheels. The tire sidewall seems quite soft and ride comfort is good which is a plus point. Quite a bit of road noise is transmitted to the cabin though. Wet performance is not so good. The tires will aquaplan quite easily and generally slid all over the road even at medium throttle. 2500 miles later and I don't think these tire will last much more than another 3-4k miles. Probably OK for the cost and definately if I had a lesser powered car the review may be different. I really did want to like these tires but not a patch on a similar priced Toyo.

Replaced a set of Michelins on my Z3 with recommendations primarily from reviews such as those found on this site. Decided to go for the Falken 452s primarily for cost. Tread pattern on these tires looks excellent - central rib with plenty of grooves and sipes present to shift water. Tires were indeed a little slippy at first (2-300 miles?) just needed a bit of the shiny contact surface taken off merely by usage. Dry grip is good overall - reasonable feedback even with fairly hard braking going into a corner or when accelerating out of a corner . Dry braking initially was poor but after the tires have worn a little braking performance was excellent. Similar stories for wet grip and braking performance too - initially a bit scary but now very good. Tires are wearing reasonably well too - reckon to get about 12k out of the set;- not bad considering the purchase price of about ?100 each. Recommended at the price.

Put these on the front of my car, replacing a pair of OE Continentals, which were dire!
First impressions were a bit worrying, I found the car wandered and squirmed, I really thought I'd made a big mistake, however after a few hundred miles, they suddenly came on strong!
Overall, 10000 miles of reasonably hard use, still had 3 and 4 mm on them when I replaced them, so the wear is reasonably good, only thing that I wasn't happy about was the grip on wet greasy surfaces, they felt they'd let go a bit too early.
Comfort is good, certainly more supple than the conti's.
I'd buy them again, if the price hadn't recentley shot up, bringing them in considering distance of Vredestein. I'd happily recommend them to anyone for pretty much any car.
Good tires.
