Do seem to wear faster than Contis, but as they are nearly half the price and similar performance, no brainer!

Good points:-
New Grip is excelent.
Dry Grip is more than enough.
Wet Grip is very good and limits any aquaplanin
Very little road noise.
Great MPG.
Look Great
Cheep.
Not so Good points:-
Could do with more rim protection.
I cant comment on wear rate that much as i have used them for 2000 miles and still look new, Will def be buying again, value for money they are far better then their rivals and much more expensive tires, without compromising on quality.

Dry Grip is more than enough.
Wear rate is very good.
Very little road noise.
When new, very good in the snow.
Great MPG.
Look Great, wish "FALKEN" was in white print.
Cheep.
Not so Good points:-
Grip very noticably drops off as the tires get to their wear limits, especially in the wet.
Could do with more rim protection.

these are the best i've had so far!despite the underrated brand. dry grip is very good! wet grip is good aswell! steering is quite responsive despite the 45 ratio.
Cons: They seem to wear A BIT faster then i thought, no rim protection at all,
looks a bit narrower than other tires with the same width (i am not the only one to say so on this site)
but hzving tested other brands, this is a great tire for the money!

Just replaced my old Michelin Primacys with these and I'm very impressed - only covered a thousand miles or so, so I can't give a full review but after they scrubbed in and stopped feeling glassy I've been very impressed with the level of grip - more than enough in the dry and progressive in the wet. Braking feels good but the steering feels a lot lighter, which is the only downside. Time will tell if they start to feel more connected and lose some of their 'float'.
Most impressively, they are quieter and feel like they have slightly softer sidewalls than the Michelins, which makes motorway miles far more relaxing. Spirited driving on country roads is more confidence inspiring, despite the slightly disconnected feel, but the big gain confidence-wise is braking - ABS is triggered far later than before which allows far more control.
Very impressed so far.

I think for the price these tires are superb, I have them on my M5 which has 400bhp at the back and the car has never let go yet.I need new ones after around 12000 miles due to wear in the centre(over inflation perhaps) but i am defo getting these again.

the tire is quieter and more comfortable compared to the pirelli's i had before. the potholes are almost gone and the noise in city and motorway is noticeable better. price is very good for the size of the tire.
will buy again just need to wait to see the wear of the tire. for a BMW 7series the comfort is still there with cheaper tires.

Reviewed these tires before and was fairly happy with the over all performance but now after only 3500 miles and a full 4 and a half months to be fair can now review the ware rate.
The result is not good, I purchased these just before Xmas 2009 and now they only have 3mm left. Now I bet you are thinking I lite these up at every corner, junction or power slide around roundabouts but nothing is further from the truth, yes I pull away quite quickly and enjoy going through the gears up to speed with some fair acceleration but thats about it.
I purchased these at just under ?100 a corner as the cheaper option but it now turns out it has cost me more in the long run, as these are going to need replacing soon and won't even get me though this years MOT !!
These would be fine for a lower power car but I am afraid I won't be fitting again and now need to find something longer lasting - any ideas anyone ??

i previously had the OEM bridgestone REO040 (i think) and i was highly disappointed in the tires handling, but the Falkens have brought me nothing but driving pleasure.

Bought 4 of these on special for my focus rs and although the rear two have lasted , the front were replaced a long time back. The tire's wore at an alarming rate on the drive wheels and seemed incapable of handling the car's torque for long : Alright handling however (dry - very twitchy in the wet) but still you end up paying more than better tires such as the Goodyear eagles or Michelin PS's in the long run
