I bought these when they were just released and was looking forward to experiencing the same performance the reviews promised. They are the thinest tire walls I have ever seen..you can push your finger in like a ballon (this does not build confidence) They feel unsettled and never give you the confidence that nothing will go wrong. The grip IS actually good but it's spoiled by the fluffy wall that rolls you about. They are also very noisy compared to Michellin Primacy HP (205/50/17)which asks the question....how did these tires EVER get an A rating?

These are the best tires I have had period! I have previously used Michelin and Contis, but neither come close to the Dunlops. The road noise is non-existant and grip in both dry and wet conditions is incredible. I have only had the tires a couple of months, so cannot comment on wear.

Just bought them last week for my `06 Corolla, and ride them for about 500 km. So far so good, very good grip in dry, wet not tested yet. The ride is quiet and fuel friendly. I don`t have any thoughts on wear yet but i will come back. My older Michelin Energy Saver lasted for 70.000 km with pretty good tread on them. Hope this ones won`t dissapoint me.

Tires no question v good in wet. But 4000 miles in and with permanently over inflated tires (1psi, checked every 3 weeks) and all four are down to 4 & 3 mm on inner and outer treads (central bead is still 7mm as expected.) Very average driving. Bridgestones lasted 28,000 miles. I and/or Toyota will have to confront Dunlop as makes no sense.

These are simply the best tire that I have ever driven on.
I used to run Michelin Pilot Sport 3 on my old 307sw, and they were good, but £15 more.
My present car came with Michelin Energy Savers, and they were awful.
The Peugeot is not the kindest on it's front tires, with that big lump up front, but these are looking good.
The wear rating is 340, as opposed to 245 on the Michelin ps3s.
It is in the wet, and under braking, that they come into their own.
Definitely my choice from now on.

Having been through a set of Michelin energy savers & Falken's, this set of Dunlop Blue responces are better against almost everything, grip is best in class. only trade-off is rate of wear, doubt these will last as long

Swapped old Bridgestone ER300s (only managed 28500 miles) for these test winning Dunlops.Braking in the dry, the same. Braking in the wet, much improved. Noise; rated 4db quieter but aren't unless driven under 30mph. Otherwise no real difference. Fuel efficiency (improved EU spec up from F to B);drive very conservatively and there's a 0-5% improvement; drive normally and there's a 5% decrease in efficiency. Not everything they profess to be, but then not driven on the limit.Only hope they do more than 30000 miles, otherwise not the best buy.

Chosen to replace average 'summer' original-fit 195/60 Silverstone NS500 as theoreticaly the best tires available for this type of good-handling saloon at present, regardless of cost.
Two other very good candidates, (that I've had experience of) were Goodyear Excellence and Uniroyal Rainexpert, but all reviews implied BluResponse as
being better.
Not surprisingly these Dunlops seem to be excellent in all respects and quieter than both the Silverstones on rougher roads and in this case even the very good 185/65 Michelin Alpin A4's I use in winter on this car, (the earlier Alpin A3's may be quieter?)
On smooth asphalt there is some 'wind woosh' due to their wide main water channels, (only 3 on this tire size, not 4 as the image) but overall no noisier.
Other highlights include the braking performance and also the ride quality - as good as the winter Michelins on 'big' bumps and better when dealing with smaller imperfections.
Seem unlikely to last quite as long as either previous tire mentioned, but I'm not bothered - they are only averagely priced and it's their superior performance that counts.

These are rated at 68 decibels but they are much noisier than my set of 4 winter tires which were rated at 70 decibels. I really wanted quiet tires after appreciating and enjoying the very quiet The rolling resistance is very good which I noticed after switching from my E,C 70 rated Micellin Alpines! If you want quiet and have a 1.6 Mk6 Golf diesel, DON'T get these.

Verry good tires. Very quiet, grate grip no matter if it's a dry or wet road.

Just fitted to my car, just one word is enough to describe these tires: EXCELLENT! It's very very hard to reach the grip limit, even on wet roads (and with, relatively speaking, high and narrow tires)! Comfort is also excellent, maybe handling is just a notch below, but these are not extreme sport tires.
