BMW BMW X1 Tire Review Highlights
Had to wait 6 years before I had to replace the original tires on my car, as I don't do a high mileage per year. Very expensive compared to the prices given on this page - £900 for a full set.
What a difference, at last I felt as if I was in control of the car. The grip in the wet is great as well as in the dry and quiet too.
Always preferred Michelin since I changed to them on my bicycle in the 1950's, yes I'm that old. Been motoring since 1964 and had numerous cars so I think I know something.

I fitted these tires after a set of Yokohamas (great btw) to have a sporty tire that was also runflat and long lasting. They are a bit noisy, but generally all RFT tires are. Much more comfortable than the P7 Cinturato that came with the car. The tires were very good even at the end of their life, they dropped performance on the last 1000km at the rear especially (they were done). I only experienced a slight issue when hitting water with only one of the tire in a bend, the car unsettled and the traction control got confused for a second, but generally were very good on wet and acquaplaning so, maybe was a combination of tire-car-surface-speed.
I would recommend them for 4WD cars such as mine, very progressive even when you push them.

I bought an X1 last October 2015 and knew I would be replacing my tyers after a few months...
The car came with Bridgestone Duelers on it and thought I had enough tread on them to last.
But when breaking while crossing over white lines near roundabouts etc... I could feel the front tyers wheels slipping through the stealing wheel!
So thought it was time to replace and do my homework.
I used this website and decided to go for the Dunlop SP Sport due to the reviews
I then compared the prices with 4 tire fitting garages.
I got a good deal £204.00 for two...from local fitter...would have been nearly £25 - £30 per tire more if I had gone through well know tire fitting company.
The car feels amazingly better wet or dry...very little road noise....feels very sure footed!
I highly recommend them!
And remember buy cheap buy twice! :-)

Nice tire, the grip is really good in dry or wet road but worn to fast, 5k miles on my R 1200 GS bike.

The Eco Contact SUV is quiet and comfortable, I really like it (non runflat)
