Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 spirited miles
I bought two of these brand new on a well known auction site for 60 quid, 13 postage and 30 to fit them takes us to a grand total of £103 for two 235 40 18. A bargain tire at that price but how do they compare to the usual premium brands I buy?
The reason I bought these cheap tires is that im paying for a wedding this year, I thought id get a cheap set to do me until after then.
Day one I was so impressed by how quiet the tires were, these are super quiet, I have never had a quieter tire!
Dry performance is every bit as good as the premiums they replaced. Had to wait a few days for rain (surprising in Scotland).
In the rain i booted it off my favourite round about and again very surprised by the grip!
I bought these because I was on a budget but I will be buying a set again when these wear out. Not sure how long they will last, only had them on a month so we will see but overall a very very good tire at least for 235 40 18 anyway.
