Driving on a combination of roads for 28000 easy going miles
Bought through the Asda tire site and fitted by Halfords, just changed yesterday after 28.000 miles on the front of our Saab 95 estate. I was surprised how well these had lasted when I checked the old receipt this morning, esp as I had given then a lot of abuse, the Saab suffered from corroded alloy rims which meant that for most of the time I was running about with soft tires and the only fault I could see with them was that they had developed cracks in the rubber, perished or due to soft running I don't know, but apart from that they were just fine. Looking at the tread left there was still a couple of thousand miles still in them but I had become tired of having to always pump them up so with an mot due I changed them and had the tire fitters apply a rim sealant at the same time. I'm not a fast driver so the ratings for feedback, wet grip dry braking etc are not somthing that ever occurs to me, they were just fine tires that did the job cheaply. Asda now supply Jinyu tires as their value range and I have these on the rear, so Jinyus are now on the front too, and I hope they will last as well.

Driving on mostly country roads for 1000 spirited miles
Replaced Nokian Z G2s with a new set of these; early days but very quiet in comparison and less harsh. Subjectively, road-holding seems better than when Nokians were first new. (And they in turn were far superior to the Continentals that were good but wore out quickly).

Remains to be seen how these fare but so far very pleased with what was a gamble since the tires haven't been out long and I hadn't seen any tests. I specifically wanted quieter tires with good rain performance; most of my driving doesn't take place on well-kept German roads but the potholed, broken tarmac country lanes and minor roads where I live.

There aren't too many (well-rated) tires in this size with higher speed XL ratings, so it was a really choice between these and Pirellis. However, I've had Avon winter tires on this car for the last few years and they've coped well with incessant rain in the winter months plus worn reasonably so with an A rain rating these seemed a logical buy.

Give them a go; you won't be disappointed.

Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 easy going miles
Really good tire if you ignore wear rate, which at whats looks to be less than 8K miles on a Saab 9-5 1.9 Diesel estate is not possible to ignore!!!!

I usually get around 20K from a pair of front tires (Pretty sedate driver) so £300 (pair of fronts) for around 5 months driving before they need changing means my next purchase will be back with Michelin. As a comparison the Avon ZV5s on the rear have worn less than 1mm in same mileage.
