MINI JCW 2020 Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Hankook Ventus Evo given 74% (235-35-19)
Driving on mostly country roads for 13000 spirited miles
Brilliant tire performance on Schnitzer wheels / suspension. Tire wear = as expected.
PROBLEM = never had so many punctures / need to reset tire pressures using this tire brand - over 7000 miles in 2 years.
I have driven sport cars for 40 years - tires mostly Pirelli, Michelin or (in earlier years) Goodyear , until this Hankook tire.
QU: please can I ask why you did not consider Hankook in your 2025 best performance tire test ?
Schnitzer recommend Falcon for its Mini JCW F56 wheel - but I think I am going to go with Pirelli, having read your 2025 review

Writing about the Hankook Winter I cept RS3 given 75% (205-45-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 100 average miles
Very good new tires from Hankook. They are budget friendly and I chose them because I was happy with previous winter tires from Hankook. They make great winter tires apart from their summer which I would never buy again. Back to these tires. I was surprised by how much dry grip they provide, nice feedback. Same thing on the wet, they are outstanding. Much better than winter Pirelli I had before. Can’t wait to try them on snow. They are a bit noisier, but the pattern and texture of the tire is the cause. I would buy them again.
