This is one of the best tires I have used. I have previously used Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3, Toyo proxes T1-R and this tire grips better than both of them in both wet and dry conditions. They also appear to wear very well after 8000 miles the Goodyears were worn out but the Falkens still have a few thousand miles left. They also give a comfortable ride. The fact it is also cheaper to buy than these two tires makes them a bargain. I will be buying again.

for the price an excellent tire. Much much better then the OEM Bridgestone RE040 that came with my BMW. These are a good all year round tire, they are amost just as good in the wet as in the dry and with our weather in the UK i think thats good peace of mind to have!

I've used these tires for the last two years, and iv'e had to get them ballanced constantly. they're out at normal motorway cruising speeds! I'm taking them in again later today and i'm considering replacing them with Vredesteins 275/30/19. Other than that they are great tires, feel very grippy but tramline a bit under heavy braking if the road's not too smooth, but that's more to do with the rubbish british roads designed for tractors!! they turn in very well an give good feed back at hi-speed. I just wish they'd stay ballanced! Might be the car but i doubt it.

I never like Falkens because of what some people have been saying. But one day as a passenger in a friend's Mercedes made me asked what tires were this car on. I have been in this car for many times when my own car is in either in the workshop or unavailable. He told me he just fitted new Falkens. Falken 452! I could not resist asking him to let me drive it. Geez... it feels better than his old Michelin Pilot Preceda. Much sharper with more obvious grip. Taut is the word when his Mercedes took off. Cornering is much improved. Surprisingly the Falken 452 is not noisy at all!!! The price is very competitive and is probably the best buy this decade. Thumbs up for Falken.

When new they take around 100 miles to run in before you get the most grip out of them. Ride comfort and road feedback are good, the grip in the dry is excellent and wet grip is not that far behind and they let you know when you are about to lose grip.
Wear wise have done 1500 miles and down to 7mm on the fronts, so they are looking good in that area.
Compared to Continental Sport Contact 2's and Toyo Proxes T1-S which I have had previously, the FK452' beat these hands down in all areas. Would definitely have these fitted again

So when the awful tires made of cheese wore out (standard fitment Conti Sport Contact 2), I tried these out. ?35 a tire cheaper than Ford's standard fitment and they lasted 5000 miles longer on fronts (20000 before wear out). In all areas apart from road noise they are better than the Contis. Wet grip is especially good and I'm about to get another set (high mileage user). Good thing is that the grip dis not drop off too much as the tires approached 3mm. By 5mm the Contis seemed shot!

The 451's are very good tires considering the price. I had these on the rear of my old MR2 for a good while. They looked and behaved much better than the budgets which were on before. Very good dry grip as you'd expect and pretty good in the wet too unless you really push it then they start to show their weakness. Seemed to last quite well, fair amount of tread left after 6000 miles. I'd consider buying them again but trying Toyo T1-R's next.

This tire came to me through a friend's recommendation. I have always avoided Falkens for quite some time because of their noise levels. Since then I have been using Michelin Pilot Preceda 2, Continental Sport 2 and Pirelli 6000 on my 2 cars (BMW 735 and Mercedes E320).
I simply bought them because of a friend who asked me to try out on his BMW 530 with this new Falken tire (replaced his older Michelin Pilot Preceda). I was really impressed. I was not so sure whether it was totally his new tires or just the combination of his BMW suspension setup that made the driving experience so pleasurable.
Anyway, once I got the the tires replaced with the Falken 452 on my own car, I felt almost the same kind of driving pleasure. The roadholding and comfort is probably the best I ever had on my BMW 735. The only thing about this Falken 452 is you would need to break in for about 100km before the incredible feeling of grip comes in. This tire is definitely not noisy at all like some older Falkens. It approached the 80% of the performance of the Pirelli PZero and Michelin PS 2 at less than half their selling price!

Very impressed....excellent grip wet and dry and nice and progressive breakaway. Little tramlining unlike other tires I have tried and took no time to bed in.

Only can compare to the relatively worn P-Zero's that were on before, but so far a thumbs up. Had them on the rears for around 700 miles. A much more progressive break-away in the wet and dry and now able to use WOT in the wet in 2nd with no wheel spin in a straight line. Going to get them on the fronts next.
One negative, experienced an cyclical motion on a gentle uphill curve at ~110 leptons. I put it down to overly tall treadblocks moving around as the tire is new rather than soft sidewalls as it is gradually reducing and now pretty much gone.

The Falken FK452 is a great looking tire which really works in both wet and dry conditions. I even did a trackday in them and they seem to be wearing well, much better than the fk451s.
Everyone I've recommended these tires to has thanked me.

A lot of tire for the money! As per the Falken 451's but slightly more grip in the wet. They wear well even with fast driving and repeated hard cornering, mine have done aprox 10k miles on twisty country roads and I still have about 3mm tread left, traction is very good even with hard launches and unlike some of the other tires I've used they are very stable under heavy/emergency braking. Well worth a look if your after a great all round tire!
