Given 87% while driving a Skoda Octavia vRS (225/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 1,000 spirited miles
I'm very impressed with the Conti SC3s which replaced Michelin PS3s. in comparison, there's a noticeable improvement in comfort and composure on poor surfaces, reduction in noise and turn in seems sharper. Sure when pushing hard they perhaps don't have the ultimate wet and dry stickiness that the PS3s had, but 95% of the time you'd be forgiven for not noticing. At ?20 less per tire than PS3 I'm more than happy so far and they seem to suit my driving style quite well. Can't yet comment on wear, but will watch carefully!

Given 91% while driving a Mitsubishi Colt (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 1,000 spirited miles
I currently have a set of CSC3's on the front and a set of CSC2's on the rear of my car, and they have transformed the handling and grip levels considerably compared with the Falken 452's and Toyo Proxes T1-R's I was using before.

In terms of ride quality, I honestly cannot notice any significant difference between the CSC3's and the CSC2's, other than the CSC2's being a tad noisier when driving on motorways.

So far, both the CSC3's and the CSC2's are wearing well with hardly any wear evident after 1000 miles of driving, unlike the Toyos which had worn down by 0.5mm within 500 miles when on the fromnt of the car.

Dry weather handling is very good and wet weather handling is excellent. Both the CSC3 and CSC2 are very nicely balanced tires. They're expensive compared to some other performance tires but are, in my view, worth every penny.

Excellent grip wet and dry but have only laster 8k which is shocking in my opinion.

Given 87% while driving a Vauxhall Corsa SRi 1.7 CDTI (195/45 R16) on a combination of roads for 10,000 spirited miles
Just reserved my second set of these tires after a faultless 10000-ish miles. My driving style is best described as enthusiastic and these tires haven't let me down. My car isn't all that heavy and with fairly agressive engine tuning, I need tires I can rely on to grip the road.
Towards the end of their life, the wet grip wasn't all that brilliant but that is the only real complaint I have. They've far outlasted the Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3s I had before.

Given 87% while driving a SEAT Leon TDI DSG Sport (225/45 R17 V) on a combination of roads for 15,000 spirited miles
Excellent all round, except for snow, but they are a summer tire. They do wear quite quickly, but grip is superb wet or dry.

Given 79% while driving a Vauxhall Astra 1.8 sport (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 23,000 spirited miles
As most other comments a really good tire but expect it to wear down. I corner pretty hard and let fly, so not bad wear all in all. Very nice handling

Given 77% while driving a Vauxhall Astra SRi CDTi 1.9 150 (225/40 R18 W) on mostly country roads for 7,000 spirited miles
Great tire in the dry and wet but they are almost worn out after 7000 miles. would buy again for grip but not for wear

Given 90% while driving a Volvo 850 T5 Estate (215/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 0 spirited miles
Definitly good tires, but I had Tyfoon succesor 2 before, and CSC3 are miles ahead on handling and road feedback.
My biggest concern is the wear, as these tires are expensive, but at this time I would have to say, I would definitly but these again.

Given 79% while driving a Jaguar X Type 2.0 FWD (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 2,000 average miles
Until now I religiously stuck to Pirellis on my X-type. Firstly the hideously expensive (certainly in S Africa) P-Zero Assymetrico's then, more recently. the P Zero Rosso. As they wore the car's already pronounced understeer got worse, road noise and comfort were diabolical and I experienced severe tramlining. I needed new tires and the Conti's were on a special. Well, what an improvement. The car is amazingly quiet and far more comfortable. Understeer is still there but far more manageable and the tramlining is now a thing of the past. So far I have done only 2000km so cannot comment on the wear. Also I have not really pushed the car to the "limit" but I feel confident they would be up to scratch.

one of the best summer tires out there along with goodyear F1 asymmetric and michelin ps2.
pricing is steep though.

Given 84% while driving a Volkswagen Golf Mk5 GT TDi 170bhp (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 21 average miles
I've found this to be an outstanding all rounder in all weathers. Wet behaviour is outstanding for a tire not advertised as a wet performer, it resists aquaplaning brilliantly and I've driven it in some torrential conditions. For a performance tire, noise is well contained and comfort is fine, firm but comfortable. Where it really scores is rolling resistance, very important on a daily runner; it's much better at stretching the mpg than any other tire I've tried. It's very grippy in the dry as well, there are better but not with the SCS3's wet abilities. Wear is good providing you drive seasonably sensibly, I got 23,000 out of mine but you will get far less if you drive with exuberance! Expensive, yes, but worth every penny!

Given 63% while driving a Toyota Chaser (255/45 R18) on track for 6,000 spirited miles
I've got a Toyota Chaser which is basically a baby supra putting out just over 200 rwkw. Going from Nankang which is well known for being the tire you put on just before selling your car I paid more then double the price and expected more then double the grip. In the dry there is noticeably more grip. The car is used mixed driving including track work. Goes around the corners really well impressed by it. Where this tire struggles is under hard acceleration especially in the wet. Going around the corners is fine as long as you are careful with the throttle. Actually goes really quick around the corners and the tires stick. Make the road wet and you can't do anything except baby the throttle. They are no better then the cheap tire seriously. And giving it some stick in the dry in first can spin the wheels so although slightly better then the cheap tires not worth the extra bucks and the excessive wear. For my car (rear wheel drive with lots of pwr) this doesn't seem to be a good choice of tire. Was recommended the tire by AWD with big pwr and the tire does seem to grip like crazy since the pwr is distributed around. Will try the goodyear f1s next.
