Given 83% while driving a Audi A6 (225/50 R17 W) on mostly country roads for 50,000 average miles
I've had Sport Contact2's on my A6 Avant from new. The fronts lasted reasonably well given that it's a reasonably heavy front wheel drive diesel and were replaced after about 15,000 miles. I thought that was ok but by comparison the back tire wear has been amazing. After 2.5 years and 50,000 miles I am only just about to replace them. In terms of performance they have done all that I've asked of them, I've been particularly impressed on the 2 occasions I've had to carry out an emergency stop - both times from about 50mph to zero without any tire drama. In the wet they've been very reliable and grip has only really been an issue in the snowy weather. I think this is more due to modern tires which seem to deal well with wet weather but struggle with snow. All in all a great tire.

Given 59% while driving a BMW 530D (275/30 R19 W) on mostly motorways for 8,000 spirited miles
I would rate these average overall which I would not expect from a trye that costs over ?200 per corner. The grip in the wet is poor at best in a straight line, putting the power down on anything apart from a dry road will kick in the tdc even in second and third (300bhp). They do however corner well in the wet and seem to stick to the road within there limit which is quite high but don't have much progressiveness and seem to just giveway. The wear is quite good as driven 10000 on them and will probably get another 10000, down to about 4mm. Excellent in the dry as most tryes should be. Ride is very hand but run the low profile, run flats so would not expect anything else. I'm looking at replacements already and will probably punt for the dunlop eagle f1 as they review better for wet driving conditions.

Given 49% while driving a Audi A3 (225/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 8,000 spirited miles
Not as grippy as i hoped and the wear rate was awful, i ate through most of the tread in about 4000 miles, got a bit better at the end. Grip wasn't great either.

Given 93% while driving a Saab Automobile 9 3 1.9 TiD (120PS) Vector Sport Airflow (225/45 R17 W) on mostly motorways for 72,000 average miles
These tires worked great for my style of driving combined with the mainly motorway mileage i have put on them. These were the rears on my Saab and covered 72K before i swapped them to the front before the sidewalls perished. They were only changed this week because i wanted winter tires but they still had maybe 2mm of tread remaining. Be advised these are summer tires so no surprise here when i say the snow performance was non-exsistant. I got stuck on the slightest on inclines on packed snow. I will now use SportContact 3's when the ambient temps average out above 8 degress or so...

Given 59% while driving a Nissan almera 1.5 (195/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 15,000 average miles
16K miles was how far these lasted on the front of an under powered 1.5 Almera. They might have last a bit longer but with all the snow I had to change them a bit sooner than the TWI showed, a bit noisy too.
Replaced them with a pair of Bridgestone Turanza ER30, they don't get a good review on this site, but so far so good, quieter than the Contact 2.

Given 93% while driving a Audi A6 (225/50 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 30,000 average miles
Done 30000 miles plus on original tires, still got 3mm left, having rotated them.
Mixture of town and short motorway journeys, also tow a caravan on a regular basis. Not the cheapest but reluctant to try others due to these being so good.

Given 60% while driving a Skoda fabia 3 hatchback (205/45 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 12,000 average miles
On my car these tires were absollutley useless in snow and ice. Anyone buying this model with these tires on should be told they will need a set of winter tires as well to drive safely. Skoda Fabia 3 , 1.4 hatch.

Given 79% while driving a Volkswagen polo gti 1.8t (205/45 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 65,000 average miles
These were original equipment on my Polo GTi. I have had one sidewall failure (Irish potholed roads....) but apart from that they have been fantastic. Replacement is expensive though, so I may have to look at another premium brand. If price wasn't an issue I would 100% buy these again given the performance and life.

Given 86% while driving a Saab Automobile 9 3 linear sport 1.9TID (150) (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 142,000 spirited miles
Front tires wear evenly and last 20,000 miles. Rears last 80,000 and wear evenly.
Excellent performance in wet and dry condition.

Given 89% while driving a Toyota Avensis (205/55 R16 V) on mostly town for 30,000 easy going miles
Lovely tires fitted to the rear of my Avensis and have lasted 30k. Good grip levels in the wet and dry and also offer good comfort levels too. they are still at 4mm so will go on for a while yet.

Given 61% while driving a Toyota Auris (205/55 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 14,000 average miles
The tire grip is very good in dry and wet, even if you push hard it still performs very good. Two issues I had:
- can be very noisy on motorway
- it lasted only 14k miles fitted on front- I don't drive really hard. If you consider the price you may get equally good product that lasts much longer.
