Given 50% while driving a Vauxhall Astra VXR (235/35 R19 W) on a combination of roads for 6,000 spirited miles
I've had these only on the back of my VXR and there aren't good at all, very skitish and doesn't inspire any confidence at all. There was 6.5mm of tread 6000 miles ago and now there is 4.6mm of tread which is shocking for rear tires on a FWD car. Would not recommend at all, and would certainly not buy again.

Given 75% while driving a Vauxhall Astra SRi CDTi 1.9 150 (225/45 R17 V) on a combination of roads for 10,000 average miles
Good summer tire, but do not go out if there is any snow about. You will get stuck.

Given 81% while driving a Ford Focus ST (225/45 R18 W) on mostly country roads for 4,000 spirited miles
This specific size of tire gave a terrific result. Excellent dry grip on my Focus ST II, pretty decent wet grip. Only drawback was I had to change front tires after 4k miles as the inner half was absolutely flat. I would buy them again hands down though!

Given 59% while driving a Renault Megane (205/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 0 average miles
These tires were supplied as original equipment and really suited my driving style. I felt confident in the wet and dry. WEAR RATE is shocking, had all 4 replaced in Feb 09 and now in Jun 10 I am down to 2mm all round having done less than 18,000 miles. I wouldn't mind the wear rate if they weren't so expensive.

Given 39% while driving a Audi A3 Sportback Quattro 2.0L TDI (170 PS) (225/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 7,000 average miles
standard tires on a3 quattro ,rear tires down to tread bars on both outsides, wont be buying same tire to replace.

Given 33% while driving a Grandis Elegance 2.5ltr (245/45 R18 W) on mostly town for 12,000 average miles
Terrible tires, Sponey and noisy. had to replace these before I had even had them 12 months so that's less then 12k. Expensive too. I drive a 7 seater People carrier so not exactly hard on my tires.

Given 89% while driving a BMW E60 535d (255/30 R19 W) on mostly town for 30,000 spirited miles
These tires performed well in the dry even on a heavy diesel but as soon as the road got damp they were a bit skitterish when thrown into a few a few corners, still aceptable levels of grip but not as good in the wet as they are in the dry.

Given 83% while driving a Volvo 850 T5 Estate (225/45 R17 W) on mostly country roads for 8,000 spirited miles
Bought these secondhand and fitted to wider than standard wheels.
They are great tires, the best allround I have had fitted to this car. (Rainsport, P6000, SportContact, Falken) The grip wet and dry is more than enough to cope with the 280 odd bhp. They provide good feedback and comfort. Bit noisy on rough surfaces and concrete but otherwise very acceptable. The fronts wear quickly but this is more down to the car as the rears are barely touched after 8000+ miles.
Overall a very good tire and thoroughly recommended.

Good wet grip.

Given 68% while driving a Volkswagen Golf Mk IV 1.6SE (195/50 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 8,000 average miles
Tires slightly oversized for SIV 1.6
The vehicle is not exactly a great performer and compared to my 'fun' car it drives like cold treacle. Bought these tires for reasonable dry and good wet performance.
They tires are more than adequate in both conditions
Don't work that well in snow, but you can't have everything.
Paid ?100/tire fitted
