Bridgestone Adrenalin RE003 Reviews - Page 5

Given 91% while driving a Nissan Skyline ER34 GT T (235/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 900 spirited miles
Bought these tires as i've heard so much positive hype about them, mostly from mightycarmods, and i'm not disappointed, these tires just grip, wet and dry, both have unbelievable grip, now i'm not pushing any crazy limits but i do go hard on my car and on the old shitty tires that came with my car it was dicey, but now with the re003's i have not lost control or accidentally spun them, i have a slightly stretched set up of a 235 over a 9 inch wide rim and still get very nice handling, the price of the tire is also very good, for what you get it is excellent value and ill definitely be sticking to these over and over again. only downside i can see is wear and its not even that bad, id much rather prefer the grip and safety in both wet and dry, instead of it lasting a few extra km's.

Doesn't deserve the name potenza. I don't like the tire at all and it ain't really cheap.

Dry grip is just okay. Wet grip on straight road is okay but if you are changing lane is a bit dangerous and of course i don't dare to take a fast corner. Noise level are not sure as i'm using a loud exhaust system. Wear rate is good for POTENZA. Comfort level is below average as the wall is quite flexy. Didn't hug the road well.

Just felt like I'm driving on a cheap ultra perfomance china brands tires. I wish i could get a refund from bridgestone as this tires shouldn't be tagged under potenza ranges.

Not recommended at all.

I have set RE003 to replace Goodyear F1A2, same size 235/40R18. F1A2s were wore fully after driving 27,500 miles, which is much longer than RE003 and with better wet grip. Nice grip in dry condition for RE003. And it's comfortable and comparably quiet. After 17,000 miles I started to feel little uncertainty when changing the line or turning. But it's still very fine based on the value.

Given 83% while driving a BMW M3 (215/45 R17 W) on mostly country roads for 150 spirited miles
Since I had 4 spare wheels, decided to put these as daily tires (made in 2015, used but lots of tread left). Grips pretty well, my handle is moderately heavy which I like; used Pirelli P zero rossos were really light and provided very little feedback. So far the wet grip is better than semi slicks(RSR, NS2R) that I used, but lack in performance when dry. Progressiveness is quite good. RE003 grips better in pouring rain than you expect, and also gives some room to correct a mistake even when you go over the limit. Although I have PSS9 with hardest setting possible, the ride quality was acceptable with these tires; it was unbearable with semislicks. For some reason, 45% ratio is twice as expensive as that of %50 in my country. For this reason, I would only consider good used RE003s for I can go for wider PSS with new ones' price.

I have Put these Tires on My 2002 3ltr Estima , Prior tires on this veiciel where Yokahama which tracked and ejected water perfectly and worn well .. So the RE003 , They are whereing Hard , Tire wall says 220 wear which is bad Had I knowen I would not have Brought them 220 is like a soft racing compond , But the grip you get is greasy rolliey ,8,000k's and Im over Half worn on my Front tires ( I've driving them like a nanna) , I have had to use these tires at nearly the max Rated PSI to stop my Estima rolling around like a bitch (the Yok"s never made me worry) , one off the four is dropping Psi badly.. Im a ex tire fitter and Not at all Impressed.. If if could have my money back I Would, Yes I have brought many brigdestone tires over 30 years, truck tires too k .. I feel I paid $260 for a $80 dollar tire ...

Very good grip on dry. Very good on damp surfaces. Bad at certain standing water.
Good and solid side walls. Poor treadwear.

I'm using this Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE003 since January 2016 till today, which clock about 20,000KM (approximately 12,400 Miles). Love the feedback and progressiveness! Great in dry condition and I would say also good in wet condition, when cruising at a speed 70-80 m/ph. Cornering grip very responsive. Definitely would buy again this tire for the current car and my other car too.

Changed to a set of the RE003's at 25,000 km's on my 2015 STI. I am now at 55,000 and looking at replacing them with another set. These tires make the grip levels so high that I can't actually find the limit in the dry on the street. I am not brave enough and I need a race seat / harness as the grip see's me moving around in the cabin to much... I highly recommend these tires to everyone I know and I am really impressed with how well they have lasted. Correct tire pressures would be the key here I think. I am running 39psi all round with -1degree of front camber and 0degree toe.

Given 86% while driving a Holden VZ Calais (245/35 R19) on track for 1,000 spirited miles
The tires completely transformed the car. coming from Kuhmo KU39s i think i felt a drop in wet grip, particularly over big puddles and extremely wet surfaces to begin with, but once the tires wore in they became a lot better in the wet. They don't have a large amount of tread depth which doesn't help them a whole lot in the rain, but wet road surfaces themselves are no challenge for this tire. Impressively they are extremely progressive on the limit and you'll be able to tell when you're loosing grip. They do take the feeling out of steering a little bit, but nothing terrible and made up for the wet and dry grip. Great street and track tire, just have to be mindful of air pressures, over inflating them will come at a cost of grip.

I have driven 10 000 km on these tires in one year, in a sedate 2004 Mazda Atenza. I bought all 4 tires in the same purchase in Newmarket, Auckland, NZ this week in May last year (2015). The rear tires are now shot and have tread of 1.6mm, the front have 5mm. Nobody, even Bridgestone, can explain to me why the wear is so excessively fast. I am not impressed with this. Absolutely no point purchasing a Road Hazard Warranty. They have 'kindly' offered a discount on my next pair, but frankly only 100% discount will do!

Haven't had them for long but they're super grippy in the dry and I was very surprised with their wet grip too. Noise isn't too bad and ride quality is good still. Can't comment on wear yet but I'll be happy with 20,000kms. Great tire and I picked up a set of 4, balanced, fitted and alignment for $600aus in a 225/50r17 which isn't a common size. Keen to try some 245s once I get wider wheels.
