265/70 R16 Tire Review Highlights
Writing about the Cooper Discoverer Rugged Trek
rated 89%
My 3rd year running them all season and been extremely happy with traction and wear!! We get some nasty winters and zero issues with snow. Ice is the biggest weakness so far.

Great tires for the price. Half the cost of the AT3W and look mint. So far they do way better than the Coopers I had on my truck prior to this.

Writing about the Cooper Discoverer Snow Claw
rated 80%
I've run the Nokian NATs, Toyo Observe GSI6 ICE and Goodyear wranglers. Obviously, this blows the all terrains out of the water in the snow. It's very near to the Toyo in snow, falls a little bit behind in ice. Very progressive tire, extremely easy to understand what's happening under the vehicle in transition between slides and acceleration. Overall, a extremely good value.

Writing about the Dunlop Grandtrek TG35

Good durability, low noise and nice shape. The car they're on isn't ideal to test them due to its marginal comfort and interfering wind noise.

Writing about the Cooper Discoverer Road Trail AT

I've had these tires on my 3rd generation tacoma for about 40k miles now, with about 6/32 of tread left. Initial impressions were excellent. The tires were quiet, with excellent dry and wet grip. I was also impressed with snow traction, though I didn't do much snow or ice driving in general. Now at 40k miles, the tires are a bit louder and I notice dry grip seems to have diminished a bit. I would consider buying them again, but note that performance does seem to drop a bit as the miles pile up.

Writing about the Evergreen ES82
rated 51%
The tires perform relatively ok but they wear down very fast and in my case they actually exploded due to the cables breaking from the inside. They had tread left in some places but they failed pretty badly and the wear was very uneven. The rubber seemed to be pretty low quality looking at the cross section. I would not recommend getting this tire.

Installed at the rear, really good tires on the road and off road! I was really impressed with the off road grip! Even at 2WD, on mud it handles really well! Buying a 2nd pair for the front in 2 weeks after a meh time with the Ovation Ecovision VI-286 A/T

Writing about the Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain Adventure
rated 55%
Ran these tires for 4 years on my 2020 Tacoma. They do give a nice ride and are dead quiet. These are pretty much the only positives about these tires. Dry and wet grip were very good when new but once they get a bit worn the grip just isn't there. I ran these only once in the first light snow of winter and immediately went out and bought a dedicated winter tire as the Goodyear Wranglers were horrible (I expected they would not be good in the snow). Durability was horrible as well. Had 2 rock punctures from small stones when they were paving a nearby road (I don't offroad). I've never had a small rock puncture a tire on me before this, but had it happen twice with the Wranglers. There is currently 60,000 kms on my truck and half of those kms are with my winters, so I'd say between 30,000-40,000 kms on the Goodyear Wranglers. About 3/32nds of tread left, so they are pretty much at the end of their life. Nowhere even close to the 95,000 km warranty Goodyear claims for these tires.

Writing about the Maxxis Bravo AT771

I got around great with no weight in the bed during winter. It rides smooth with a load in the bed handles well hauling. I would highly recommend these as a great commercial tire as mine are 10ply.

Writing about the Maxxis Bravo AT771
rated 100%
Put Maxxis AT 771’s on my L200. I can’t believe the difference. The track I use to get to my field I had to use 4x4 to get down it. I can now get down in 2 wheel drive. Grip is excellent. They disperse the water when hitting large puddles to the side so no windscreen being covered in water. When I bought my car it had budgets tires on. Never again. The cost of Maxxis is well worth it.

Writing about the Nokian Line SUV
rated 60%
Initially OK, but after approx 40,000 easy motorway miles over 5 years, the tires are splitting between the circumferential grooves and have failed inspection, despite still having 3 to 4mm of thread remaining.
