155/80 R13 Tires

I wrote my impressions after about 10,000 km of use, and I confirm my good impressions. After about 25,000 km, I believe they can easily go another 20,000 (driving style mostly calm), and I think I would buy them again if I found a good price. Just like the ones I have on the front axle (Kleber Viaxer), another great purchase. Then I read about someone mentioning cracks on the sides of the tires, but I would like to know how the owners treat their tires. For example, when washing the car, some people put 'tire shine' on the tires, which we don't know what it's made of and could contain something that damages them instead of taking care of them? Personally, the sides of my tires are perfect considering they are about 5 years old and have around 25,000 km on them, but probably it's also because I bought a specific product to care for the rubber and rejuvenate it; evidently, it works? 10 euros for 1 liter isn't cheap, but maybe it's worth it? I give the same treatment to the scooter tires, and when I check them visually, they look like new... So I recommend everyone to treat their tires with products to keep them efficient and at the same time looking good, like the specific tire shines.

A good all season tire with excellent braking and grip on snow, like a winter tire. High comfort and low noise.

I had already left a review on these Nexen tires but reading around I would like to integrate and reexamine some considerations: I have seen that some car manufacturers fit Nexen tires as standard and this means that at least they have done some testing and will respond adequately to stress, then always reading around I have seen that some "pairings" seem tested and functional, and even if these Nexens do not have the sipes and grooves that allow the dispersion of water directly in case of rain and puddles, by mounting a pair of Kleber Viaxer on the front axle, which instead have the structure of the sipes and grooves of the tread designed in such a way as to allow the water to flow directly, therefore even with a small and therefore relatively light car, the water planning effect can be mitigated in a way that I would say is good. By adopting this scheme, with the Kleber Viaxer in front and these Nexen HD Blues in the back, I can say that if you stay above 5°C the "system" works very well. I've done more than 10,000 km, and the last trip on the motorway, even in heavy rain, went very well with a 1242 cc Panda 169. I think the choice is quite wise, as I've tried other tires, even premium ones, and I can safely say that they are only slightly inferior in quality and performance to some better-known and best-selling brands. However, we must often recognize the superiority of Pirelli, Michelin (Kleber belongs to Michelin), GoodYear, and Uniroyal. Continental, Dunlop is real. I found these little Korean tires to be truly deficient, and I think they can easily last more than 30,000 km safely.

First of all, on the front drive axle I mounted a different brand that is just a little inferior to the more renowned ones but still very efficient. On the rear axle I have these 155-80-r13 Nexen tires that I consider really good for the car, which has modest performance, but the tire undoubtedly changes your ride and grip, and if you use reliable products, the difference is really noticeable! Absolutely positive opinion even if the tread has not adopted the system of grooves and cuts that allow the direct flow of water in case of rain as other brands do, in any case I think they work very well. I have traveled about 11,000 km and the wear is promising because they are less than 1/3 worn, so I expect them to easily reach over 30,000 km.

On uneven surfaces, the tire is a bit noisy, but on dry asphalt and at temperatures above 10°C, it performs very well on a Panda 169 with a nearly 1300cc engine. We're talking about a tire size used on countless car models: 155/80 R13. Even at temperatures just below freezing, they perform well and are very durable despite being designed for summer use. The tires were mounted in 2022 and have covered around 10,000 km with moderate use. Wear is less than a third of their potential mileage, so I estimate they can easily last over 30,000 km. Overall, a good rating.

They're great in the dry and wet under braking and acceleration, but get a bit understeery in severe rain.They're a good price and so far have barely worn at all. way better than the budget winter tires that were fitted previously.

Fantastic tires, really good comfort and really quiet, would definitely buy again
