Same person who reviewed the Trofeo RS on the Taycan. Even though I was not into buying this tire again after the disappointing experience I had with the Taycan (the most expensive 2-miles 25 laps I will ever have), due to availability reasons I had to buy this tire again this time on a 992.1 GT3. And now I am flabbergasted and came to accept that tires are voodoo magic stuff and beyond what I can comprehend. Both versions where car specific, Taycan specific and 992.1 GT3 specific. But on the Taycan the tires were worn like they were some eraser from a bookstore, whereas on the GT3 they were really good and lasted 3 full track days with fantastic and even wear. Yes, alignment settings where different, in favor of the GT3, but I was checking the tires all the time and even when taking that under account, the wear difference was very obvious. Yes, the weight difference of the 2 cars is 850 kgs. Yes, the temperature was better. Still though my overall experience is that the Trofeo RS on the GT3 absolutely rocks, whereas the Elect-Taycan version is not really a tire specifically designed for this car but more of a 'make this tire EV specific'. As said, voodoo magic, I don't really understand how the 'same' tire can have so much difference on different versions for different cars.
Performance wise, once again pure perfection. Like in the Taycan. Balance, braking, traction, steering, everything is as good as it can be. Even though it is most probably the fastest tire you can put on this car, it is decently progressive at the limit. Not much more to say really, the car and the tire were meant for each other. There is not a single thing you can ask to improve.
Alignment was set -3,4 front/-3,1 rear and this is more or less where you get even wear. Will it get even better with more aggressive alignment? Perhaps. I will try it soon.
The Pirellis went back to back with the Nankgang CRS on the same track. The wear of the Nankgangs was unbelievable and lasted 50% more than the Trofeo RS, but I was happy with both. But make no mistake, the Trofeo RS outperforms the Nangang on the 992.1 wing GT3. More stable on weight transfers, better braking, better steering, better traction at optimum temparatures. Heat management wise, they were quite close even though I believe the Trofeo was slightly better (but not too much). Is it worth the extra cost compared to the CRS? If you are in the mood for lap times, it absolutely does. But the Nakgang is cheaper, lasts more and even though it cannot much the Pirelli, it is still a fast tire.

Fitment comes from each tire's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.
