Fitment comes from each tire's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

Falken Azenis FK510 225-50-18 Infiniti Q50 300 miles August 31, 2025
My car came with S001 RFT. This was my first "warm sedan". The ride seemed too stiff. Handling was uncommunicative; like on the rails. After they wore out, I got PS4 (non-RTF) thinking the road feedback would improve. It did not. Mind you, I do not do race tracks. I am driving exclusively in the city and on highways. I want the steering wheel communicate the interaction of the car with the road. The car just felt numb on roundabouts. The car was "skipping" in turns that indicated a firm sidewall and stiff tread.

So I got thinking. And I decided that the culprit was the sidewall that was too firm. I wanted to have a flex in the sidewall or in the tread lugs when I was doing turn around a corner or in roundabouts, the front tires would flex, and would then push the car in the opposite direction. So I found from reviews that the Hankook and Falken UUHP tires had softer sidewalls which, in opinion of some people, made them similar to the touring tires.

With that thought, when the PS4 wore out, I got Hankook Ventus S1 Evo3. I gave up on my snobbery against "lesser-branded" tires. Indeed, the Hankook had softer sidewalls, and handling had that pliable feel that I was looking for. The tire performed 90% of the PS4 while costing 2/3 of it. I was pleasantly surprised with the Hankook tire. It lasted 32k km versus 30k km for PS4. I thought I would be getting it again.

When the Hankooks wore out, I could not get it in my favorite online store. But it was OK with me, as I wanted to try the other hero of the crowd: the Falken Azenis. I had a choice between the FK510 and FK520 model. First, I set my eyes on FK520, as this was a newer model (therefore, it was better ?). However, further thinking threw an idea at me that the older model FK510 could have a thicker sidewall unlike the more modern FK520 that apparently was made with the stronger but thinner sidewall materials. My Hankook was of the same ilk, and I did not quite like it. It was too sensitive to air pressure. It depended on airpressure for the ride not on the stiffness of the rubber in the sidewall. The FK510 seemed to be of the older generation that I liked. So... FK510 was much cheaper in my favorite store (which indicated it was several years old). It was half price of PS4. The final convincing fact came from the review of the Singaporean gentleman in here, who said that FK510 had a better dry grip than FK520, thus he recommended it. So, I was set on FK510.

I got the tires, and I was happy I got them. I noticed straight away that it had that "pliable" feeling in handling that I was looking for. Now, the road provided a lot of feedback to me through the steering wheel. (I think it also has to do because of a lot of sipes in the lugs as is compared to the larger solid lugs in FK520). The feeling was better than that in the previous Hankooks. The tires were 3 years old, but that was OK, as I did not feel shortchanged in terms of the grip. The tires were made in Japan. Also, the tire design had a pronounced rim protector that I liked a lot. So, it turned out the best tire for me so far on this car.

Bridgestone Adrenalin RE003 245-40-19- Infiniti Q50 2,000 miles February 3, 2025
These tires were fitted on my Infiniti Q50S when I purchased the vehicle, only driven 2000kms thus far so can't comment on wear. These tires are a great balance between everyday comfort and performance. Grip and predictability in both wet as well as dry conditions seems to be very good. Nil issues with comfort nor road noise.

DX640 245/40R19s all round on my Infiniti Q50. 5000 miles in, these are simply the best tires I’ve ever bought. I’ll never buy another brand, whisper quiet and confidence inspiring. Recommended like fury.

I've purchased 3 complete sets of these for 3 very different cars: Subaru Legacy 3.6, Infiniti Q50, & Lexus SC430. Combining the overall experience, I'm very pleased with these tires. Cost is very good yet the tire competes with much more expensive products. Road noise is low. Grip (Infiniti) was great in snow. Rain (Subaru) was equally good. Mountain roads (Lexus) were surprisingly good, especially considering the weight of the SC430. I'm almost in need of tires for my 335i & am seriously considering putting these on instead of the more expensive performance tires that are on it now. I recommend these tires. A daily commute car or weekend leisure vehicle will do well.

Bridgestone Potenza S001 RFT 225-50-18- Infiniti Q50 22,500 miles January 22, 2022
Very good grip dry and wet, I live in a place where pouring rain is oftenly happen, but these tires never make me feel slippery. Very long life, they runs 22500miles and still have about 3-4mm to the wear mark. Also very expensive, almost double the price compared with csc5 and advan 105s rft. The tires are hard as rocks, very intense response and make you so confident drive fast, it's a pleasure to cut corner. The side effect is when hit obstacles on the road will make you feel they're crashing the suspensions of the car. Very annoyingly noisy. Change them with advan v105 when after 4 years two of the four tires have bulge.

Just got this new set of 4 tires as recommended by the tire shop. Oddly enough, could not get the size (225/55R17) as per what I have, in stock, from one of the big brands. Understand that Farroad is Chinese brand but seems to be their high performance range. Was using a set of Continental run flats which I really hated. It was extremely hard and made the car really "jumpy" and twitchy. Those tires absolutely killed the drive. After changing to these new Farroads, obviously the comfort was way better. Handling was also much better as the "twitchiness" was gone. Have so far gone no more than 100km on the tires only. Then we faced a Covid lockdown. Can't go anywhere anyhow. So far, testing the tires, managed to push it a little bit. I would say the dry grip is there. The rear tire does not breakaway during an acceleration from standstill compared to the Contis. Driving in heavy rain, I did not perceive a significant difference between these and Contis. I have another car with Michelin PS4s and I would rank the handling at almost equal in very wet conditions. I cannot comment much about wear as I have hardly gone beyond 100km on them. Maybe another review in time. Really surprised me with the kind of quality for under USD49 for one tire.
