Vauxhall Meriva Tire Review Highlights
I have had this model of tires on 2 different cars, but this review is based on my latest car which has just had them replaced. I purchased these as they had received very good test results when compared to around 50 or so peers, especially Aquaplaning where they came 2nd beating several premium brand tires. In fact the only aspect they performed badly in was Tire Wear where they were just slightly better than Avon ZV7s on that aspect. My car is underpowered but is shod with low profile tires which means that it corners really well and there are a couple of tight motorway exits which I love to accelerate on to test their grip limits. Never did they fail me in either Wet or dry conditions even when they were getting close to their tread limits. I would definitely recommend them and would buy them again because they are such good value for money, but suggest they are best for the rear wheels on FWD cars to maximise their longevity.

These had been fitted on the front by the dealer before I looked at the car. No probs - they are OK. They are quiet at motorway speeds and are quite happy around town. Wet or dry they seem to do what is required. Only done 500 miles so can't comment yet on wear rate.
Haven't tried them in icy conditions yet due to the mild winter. I suppose they will be like any other tire. Ice is slippy and the car won't want to go around a corner but will want to carry on in a straight line until it leaves the road or hits something.
Look out for the spirited driver coming toward you round the corner on the wrong side of the road who is convinced that it is the tires that have turned him into a bad driver - nowt wrong with a new tire he just can't drive very well and he's driving too fast.

Terrible, fitted to 2005 Vauxhall Meriva, complained about ‘tramlining' shortly after fitting but only sorted out 12 months later when different tire brand fitted, no problem afterwards.

Just had these fitted and driven on snow and ice over the last couple of weeks. I have a very steep drive that normally causes loss of traction at the slightest sign of snow or ice. The CrossClimate plus felt like driving on a dry road and showed no sign of traction loss either up or down. So confident on them I had to keep reminding myself of the road conditions. In a word Fantastic!. Would highly recommend.

Too expensive compared to other major contributors plus
Fuel use was high with these 2014. 2015 opted for Dunlop Sport blu response.

I have children X 2 and 1 Dog and these are on my MPV - 13000miles they've only lasted. Previous to this I had Michelin Energy+ and got 16000 miles but wet breaking wasn't as good. I'm not a racer and live Yorkshire Dales, they've coped with slush wet with 3" snow but driving below 20mph. Summer they're great, little noises motorway. However, I do motorway driving and wet is my concern. Do I stick with these or try Michelin Cross Climate?

I bought these tires to replace Dunlops and GT Radial tires fitted to my Meriva. So far these tires have been faultless in wet and dry conditions. Have not experienced any sliding about in any road condition. The only complaint is tire noise which only happens at approx 40mp and on certain road surfaces. Have had Conitnental tires in the past and had same tire noise with them regardless of speed. I was a bit concerned after I had bought these tires and then read the reviews about poor grip in the dry and wet etc. However no problems so far
