Driving on mostly country roads for 6200 spirited miles
After stepping up from 215/40R17s (SA-07'S As Well) which only got 12,000ks.. (I drive hard over twisty windy roads at highway speeds) The size difference has slowed the wear down. I've already done 10,000ks and still have 6mm left on them :) Excellent dry and wet grip, Done a few snow days with them and couldn't fault them although I did naturally drive slower lol. Only sudden lose of grip I've had was going round a corner at speed hit a Unmarked gravel patch and the rear started sliding. But as soon as I hit tarmac again it regained grip really fast :) I've always ran these tires on 40 psi but I do have a station wagon... Side note my car has Bilstein suspension so I can get away with spirited driving so I am not sure if this review is applicable to normal suspension

Driving on mostly town for 500 average miles
I've just bought a 2001 Subaru Legacy with 3x of these tires on it. The two on the back whine like crazy. I didn't believe it was the tires to start with so had the diff replaced and a wheel bearing replaced too but later found it was the rear tires.

The humming noise would start at 30kph all the way to 100kph and would fill the whole cabin with noise. Checking the tires over, it's like they have feathered tread, one tread patch is sitting higher than the next part.

Would never buy these tires, I have 1x Bridgestone Dayton DT30 (near new) on the front so am replacing the other three with the Dayton's to give me some piece of mind even though the rears have heaps of tread still.
