These tires were fitted to my old Megane/2012 130hp, to replace the old Dunlop SportMaxx RT -205/50R17Y, only used in summer season. I feel like they are decent in the dry if you are not really pushing to the limit. I cannot complain about the wear at all, as I drove only 8.000 km Not quiet as my old tires, even if a lower noise level is indicated on the label. But, even are rated on label as XL, ZR and high weight index, the tire have soft sidewalls. Drawback: they seem deflated all the time even with higher pressure, and slow response to steering ! Due this, I felt insecure, especially at high speed on highways. To be honest, although it is an extremely cheap tire, I will return to the pro range tires and I will not buy again Landsail.

I change from Michelin energy saver due to side damage to front tire. I went for Goodyear efficient grip performance, as there ware lots of good reviews. first you can see the difference as tire is very soft and looks underinflated. the handling was bit worst that Michelin, or just needed to get use to them. breaking and stopping was very good, with daily commute of 50/50 motorway/city driving the tires need to be replaced soon, after just 2 years and 12400 miles. the middle of the tire is near to wear indicator, less than 3mm, but sides are still over3mm. I was always within manufacture tire pressure limit, but still tire look like it was overinflated all the time. maybe its due to the softness of the tire, or just nature. Very good tire but it didn't last long in my case. the back. Compared to Michelin energy saver that are fitted in the back, they still have over 4mm and over 39000miles on the clock.

Very satisfied with the tires which were OEM from new. Excellent grip in dry and wet, somewhat firm ride at low speed on bumpy roads, but within normal limits. Relatively quiet. I constantly read reviews about poor wear characteristics, but this hasn't been my experience. 40,000k and they're still going strong, with maybe 4-5mm left on the tread. I drive fast but smoothly, avoiding boy-racer acceleration (it's just not cool, people!) and not screeching around corners - motorway and country roads. The tires look great too. The rim protection profile somehow makes them look classier than most.

Would I buy them again? Probably not - they're ruinously expensive at this size for some reason. A full set of Hankooks can save me over 100€.
