Driving on mostly town for 28000 average miles
I drive a FWD Mitsubishi 3000gt. I've only ever driven on a couple tires in my life, but Imo, these tires are amazing in the dry. They are definitely a sporty compound. The understeer on corner exit even when pushed past the limit is very progressive and predictable. They do not squeal when pushed past the limit like eco tires, they grip very hard. However, these tires will start to show their weakness when ambient temps start to drop below 70F. Ride quality starts to drop as they get hard, and they will lose traction. Hydroplaning/rain was never an issue, Great confidence in the rain. But as said before, if it's cold rain especially, they will spin. They are advertised as all seasons but think of them more like summers. During heavy snowstorms with a couple mm of fresh snow on the ground, my car will get squirrely only going 55 on the interstate. This is even with new (less than 5000 mile) tread. The treadwear rating is pretty low, so I'm not surprised that 30,000 miles in, they are about 75% worn to the first wear bar.

They have seen a low double-digit amount of first gear burnouts though during special occasions btw =D

Driving on a combination of roads for 100 spirited miles
I originally had on the car a set of cheap Accelera PHI tires which surprised me because the tread pattern looked great and the level of grip in both wet and dry conditions were good. When i developed punctures to both these tires i decided to replace them on recommendation by the tire shop with Uniroyals RS3. After these tires were fitted on the vehicle i decided the following day to test the handling on a stretch of road i frequently drive on. It just so happened that it was raining and the road was wet but given the fact the Uniroyal RS3 are wet weather tires i thought it would not be a problem and decided to put them through their paces. To my utter dismay driving along this twisty road i can honestly say that in the 5 years of ownership of my vehicle the back end of the car has never been such a mess. It was as if my suspension had turned to jelly and felt wobbly and unhinged. After stopping safely and examining the car for defect i carried on with my journey and as i approached an island at the top of the road the back end began to slide midway through exiting. To summarise i would say that my car has permanent 4wd and 4ws as well as Tein Street flex suspension which is approx 4 months old.I would highly stress to anyone thinking of buying these tires to do some research first, or you run the risk of becoming unstuck when you need it. I most.I certainly will not be buying these tires again and will revert back to Hankook V12 EVO tires as in my humble opinion offer great value for money and more important excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions.

fine tires for very mild east-european winter
good in low temperatures (5*C to -5*C)
BUT... in higher temps (higher than 15*C) when comditions are dry the car is sliding everywhere, when it's raining the grip is very good,
during winter it was okay until the first snow ... when you're driving only in the city - it's okay, but outside it (and on a highway) those tires can try to kill you (even with all wheel drive!) ... they don't like snowy conditions... they accept them, but just do not like ;-)))

GY Vector 4 Seasons are like average winter tires with a bit harder rubber. I paid 600€ for 225/50R17 and i expected much more. You can buy good "new" premium winter tires made a few years before (so the rubber became harder) and you'll get the same... and you'll pay much less...
