One of the best tires I have fitted in any car. True 80-20. Excellent on road, great grip, fantastic braking and confident in the wet. Also in light gravel the grip was fantastic. Can’t wait to try them also with a bit of snow. The best thing the absolute minimum road noise. Incredible all around tire.

Trust me, these michelin primacy 4+ tires: 205/60 r16 96H XL on the front of my Mini countryman 1.6 are the better tire than the bridgestone XL on the rear . these Michelins are improved version of the Primacy 4, more comfort, more feedback and super grip. Always had Michelins on the front wheel drive Mini, worth the little extra cost. Had michelin primacy 4 tires: 205/60 r16 96h xl previously. Those lasted 6 years, a great tire used right down to 1.6 mm with over 50000 miles clocked up with various short and long journey shared with my teenage son. Change can be good and Michelin had done an excellent job with the improvements on the 4 Plus. It's also super quiet, the best and safest Tire around, really.
Put on front of a 2013 plate Mini Countryman to replace 2 worn Continental's just before a spell of really bad weather set in (snow, sleet and ice) and l was amazed at the superb levels of grip these two Hi Fly's gave in such conditions.
Don't listen to the people who knock Chinese tires as they are usually the one's who've never even tried them! Indeed, most of the so-called premium tires these days originate from the Far East anyway. Save yourself a fortune and buy Hi Fly.
