I'm generally very satisfied with the grip, braking, and comfort of the Continental SportContact 7 I bought for my Cupra Ateca. The feeling of security on both wet and dry surfaces is fantastic.
However, the wear rate of the tire is a total disappointment. I'm definitely not someone who drives performance-oriented; I have a calm driving style and most of the 9,600 km I've done was in Istanbul, under standard city conditions. Despite this, the service indicated that the tires are excessively worn and will need to be replaced after about 10,000 km.
I understand it's a performance tire, but it's not normal for it to wear out this quickly even with such calm usage. As good as the grip is, the lifespan is just as weak. Those who are considering buying should definitely take this rapid wear into account.

Fitment comes from each tire's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

What Cupra Ateca drivers say
The most recent owner reviews from this car, in their own words.
OE tire on my Cupra, a very quiet one, almost no road noise at motorway speed, not the best grip in the dry, good breaking in the wet, next one will be a performance, not a touring tire
