BMW 340 m sport Tire Review Highlights
So good grip in the winter

As a fan of winter tires and a self confessed "Michelin fanboy" these are the best winter tires I've ever used. Mostly because snow and ice are quite rare even in Scotland. So it's wet and dry performance in cold conditions that matter most.
These tires just hang on to the road and give significantly more grip than you can reasonably expect for the conditions. Breakaway is progressive and not just controllable but fun and exploitable.
Due to unforseen circumstances (and because I have a second car) I've ended up using these throughout the summer. Grip levels reduce as expected in high temperatures but the progression and fun remain.
I'm definitely staying loyal to Continental in winter now. Long to see what their new winter tires can do

I drove with the front tires for 73,000 km and they had 5mm tread depth left. These tires are extremely uncomfortable because they generated very loud noise after driving faster than 50 km/h. i changed them with Pirelli P-Zero RFT and the noise level dropped by 70% as i still have 2 rear Potenza s001 tires. That is my only complain but it's a big one. I was angry that i changed them early due to the uncomfortable noise level that they generate.

2000 miles on these tires and they have great handling dry or wet. I have pushed these tires during flash flood roads where hydroplanning is possible, but these tires charged large without any surprises. If you can get a buy 3 get 1 free deal for these its worth the loudness of the tire.

After having Michelin’s on my car and switching to Continental Extreme Contact’s I couldn’t be more pleased. They hold the road in dry and wet weather and are much better in the snow than the Michelin’s. I’m buying another set now for my BMW 335i xdrive msport.

I installed 19 inch and tight profile but its amazing. Best one Michelin alpine 5 second one this tire. I did not stack anywhere and i did not get any problem. Just one thing should be better ice performance. Its not bad but should be better
