Given 81% while driving a Renault Megane (205/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 124 spirited miles
Having just sold my Megane 1.9 dci after six and a half years at 124k shod with Michelin Pilots (previously Michelin something else when new) I can recommend Michelin until the cows come home.

They were original fit and suited the car well. For 18k I tried a recommended Goodyear for wet grip to do long drives from the Midlands to Cornwall but they only lasted 18k and were rubbish after 12k so back to Michelins and better economy (45-47mpg and 51-55mpg ona run).
Figures; 1st set all went at 40k with one puncture. 2nd set 58k on Goodyear's, 3rd set 88k with one replaced due to blade in sidewall near tread, sold on 4th set with one replaced at 122k due to bent rim and pothole.

All in all a good tire and economical for high mileage users since you get about 5% more with Michelin and a little bit on top with nitrogen fill. I rebalanced wheels every 18k service and never needed to swop wheels.

I'm just working out savings over 2 x Ceat and 2 x Dunlops rear on a Fiat Multipla 1.9jtd. If you calculate fuel at ?1.20/litre (?5.49/gallon) x 30,000 miles at 36mpg (currently) that's 833 gallons @15.25p/mile. With an average of 5% better fuel consumption if you check pressures weekly and rebalance every service that's 1500 miles extra @15.25p = ?228.75. If you pay ?85.00 per tire at Kwik-Fit for Michelins fully fitted and tracked with nitrogen etc. instead of ?50.00 for cheap that is ?140 extra for 4 Michelins saving ?78.75 per set or ?19.69 per tire together with the safety and environmental bonuses.

Only decision now is whether I can afford a set of anything at the moment!

Given 69% while driving a Audi A4 (245/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 15,000 average miles
Apart from disappointing wear, the reason i woulds not buy the tires that were original equipment is the dreadful snow performance. It was like driving on Teflon.

Given 90% while driving a Mercedes Benz C320 (205/55 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 30,000 average miles
Bought my Michelin Primacy's (4 new) 3 years ago and done 30,000 miles since, and only now have just replaced the rear two!! The fronts still have 4mm on them.
Needless to say I just bought two new Michies.

These tires last forever and are excellent quality!

Given 80% while driving a Vauxhall Astra SRi (205/55 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 100 spirited miles
Recently bought this tire based on reviews on here, found that they grip very well and have improved the smoothness of the ride. Have used in snow, rain and dry evebn in the short period of time I have had the tires, but i have been very impressed on each surface.
Good Buy!

Given 93% while driving a Mazda 6 Wagon (205/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 24,000 average miles
Had a front wheel nail puncture at 70mph, no sudden movement, tire held together very well. The only reason I knew of the flat was because of the little rummble of a flat tire. Very impressed.

BMW E90 320d (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 50 average miles
Since I purchased my car 3 years ago, I have been so disappointed with the awful tramlining that occurs. The car originally had Bridgestone runflats. I then purchased Pirelli Europhina runflats which lasted about 20k before they wore unevenly on the front outside edges. They too were pretty awful and tramlined all the time, especially at low speed. I was seriously considering ditching the run flats in favour of standard tires but as I drive my grandchildren around a lot, decided to stick with the run flat option for safety reasons. So what to replace the Pirelli's? I did a lot of reading and finally opted for the Michelin Primacy runflats. Boy am I glad I did. Although I have only had them a day so really too early to give a full report, I can say that it is like having a new car. No tramlining at all on areas of road that I use frequently and which previously caused all sorts of problems with the steering. Hope that this experience continues and that the tramling and poor steering is a thing of the past.

Given 48% while driving a Audi A6 Allroad 3.0 TDI (225/55 R17 V) on mostly country roads for 12,500 spirited miles
I drive on my Audi allroad 3.0 tdi and do a lot of miles every year, mainly on Irish country roads. I put on a set of Michelin Primacy HP tires and I am very disappointed at how twitchy the car became once there was any bit of surface water, I have had no confidence in these tires from new. The wear rate was unusually high also, completely shot at 13500. I will go back to Michelin Pilot HX MXM which are fantastic in the wet and I normally get about 18-23K miles.

Given 54% while driving a Audi A3 Sportback (205/55 R16 V) on mostly motorways for 14,710 average miles
First set illegal at 14710 miles but worn absolutely evenly--so not a car or tracking problem.
Now on 2nd set of same tires--done a further 10650 miles & trea wear to just under 4mms. They are rubbish!!

Given 97% while driving a Toyota Avensis (205/55 R16 V) on mostly town for 50,000 easy going miles
Superb tire in wet and dry, very comfortable and the wear rate is excellent. Highy recommended tires they just last and last.

Given 73% while driving a Honda FRV (205/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 10,000 average miles
I liked the Primacy HP - a very good all round tire.
Dry grip is very good, the car feels sure footed and the same can be said about wet grip too. The walls of the tire are a little spongy but on the whole a very good balance between comfort and performance. The noise levels can be a loud on the rougher motorway surfaces.

They are down to 3mm now and are due to be replaced soon mainly due to some aquaplaning through standing water. I think they have lasted around 11K on the driven wheels (front), which is a little disappointing for Michelin but can't complain too much as my car is a heavy diesel.
