Given 80% while driving a Honda Civic Type S (205/55 R16) on for 0 miles
Used this tire on my Civic 2.0 FD2A;road handling in dry & wet is great; wear for me was low & lasted 65,000km. Only dislike was the Rough Noise it gives especially after 50% tire wear........ Will try other tires like F1 Asymmetric hopefully with lower road noise.....

Given 64% while driving a Skoda Fabia vRS (205/45 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 500 average miles
Just replaced the original front Continentals on my Fabia VRs from new. Whilst the grip and handling has improved over the Continentals the fuel consumption has dropped from 54 to 46 mpg on the computer. Not sure if I swapped the rears (Continentals) with the front (Goodyear) whether this will improve the mpg?

Given 37% while driving a Toyota Avensis (215/45 R17 R) on a combination of roads for 10,000 average miles
Like a few other reviewers, I had similar experience with a rumbling noise sounding like a bearing. Have since found out at MOT that the noise was due to a mis-shapen tire....rear offside....so a common problem with these tires.
Also, pretty poor wear with the centre of front tires wearing whilst outside less so.
With the continuous centreline, it begs the question as to the legality of the tire as new, since the law expects grooving across the entire tread.

Given 53% while driving a Vauxhall 1.4 auto mk3 (195/50 R15 V) on mostly country roads for 7,000 spirited miles
I tried these years ago and came back to them, what a mistake, driving style needs max grip, these don't deliver, don't know why they are rated so high.
Just ordered Sportrac 3 replacments.
They are very comfy tire though.

Given 72% while driving a Skoda Fabia vRS (205/45 R16 W) on mostly motorways for 100 easy going miles
These are a newly fitted tires, so an aggresive denunciation would be premature, however, I feel I must comment on the rolling resistance of these tires. Previously on my journey into work I could achieve nearly 60mpg with Continental tires fitted, but on the same journey and in similar conditions I was hard pushed to see 50 mpg - I estimate this to be a 15 to 20% increase in fuel consumption! I do appreciate that there is a trade-off between grip and rolling resistance and these are early days, but this does seem excessive and potentially very costly. I am also aware that many factors can influence the fuel consumption of a car: tire pressure, load, driving style etc and things might improve when the tires have settled down and run-in. I would be very interested to know if anyone has experinced similar problems - perhaps I should check the mirror to see if I'm towing an expensive weight - caravan!

Given 29% while driving a Mitsubishi Evo 4 (205/50 R16) on track for 500 spirited miles
These tires fell apart after 1/2 a track day. They are probably OK on the road for avearge driving, but I would not use them for fast raod or track days.

Seemed great at first ,excellent grip in the wet ,quiet at first.Had car checked as I thought wheel bearing was going - turned out to be tire out of shape.Still about 4-5mm tread left , will be changing them shortly.

Given 46% while driving a Vauxhall Vectra (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 40,000 spirited miles
Initialy appealing given the grip albeit very jumpy on ridged surfaces. Rear tire tread started to disappear after 5000 miles with appalling noise like a worn wheel bearing. Understand some imports can be dodgy. Lost all faith and replaced with ContiSport 2 which have been excellent all round. Be careful about source of the Good Years.

Given 80% while driving a BMW E39 M5 (225/45 R17 W) on mostly motorways for 60,000 average miles
When I got my 330d I was dissappointed to find that the P-Zeros that it came with (and that I replaced the first time round) only lasted about 8000 miles. I've used F1 GSD-3s ever since and on average they last about 15000 miles. Although dry grip is good the real selling point is wet grip and aquaplaning resistance which is incredible.

The cold-weather/slush/snow performance is extremely poor however as would be expected. I have a set of Nokian WRs on cheap steel rims which I change over to in the winter - they're brilliant in the Alps or even at home on the odd snowy/slushy day we get here - and you save your summer tires and wheels in the process.

Given 69% while driving a Subaru Legacy (215/45 R17 W) on mostly motorways for 12,000 average miles
I really liked these tires initially, they lived up to their billing as quiet and grippy. They worked well in both wet and dry conditions and looked great.

However, both rear tires have now deformed, which I have never seen before, and make an awful amount of noise. Disappointing.

Given 64% while driving a Ford Focus (215/35 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 15 miles
Excellent Wet Grip, average dry grip; however difference between two is smaller than most tires. Wear rate was only average (~10k on the front, 20k on the back)
Biggest issue has been the number of 'failures' we have had on my wifes focus. Had to replace a total of 5 tires early (well before the wear bar) over the past 4 years. 3 with enormous (multiple) bluges appearing in the side wall & 2 with extremly uneven wear with huge flat spots accompanied by a dramatic increase in road noise. These are characteristics I have never seen on other tires. Scary stuff & in hindsight would not go near them, or other goodyears again.
