Performance Analysis

Drawn from 4 tests. Updated October 28, 2026.

The Ceat 4 SeasonDrive+ has a variable four-test record, with better braking-screen results than its full 2023 assessment. It was fifth of 30 in the 2025 Auto Bild All Season 30 Tire Braking Test, including fifth for dry braking at only 1.6% from best and eighth for wet braking at 8% behind. That is an unusually favorable result against 19th of 37 overall in the 2024 Auto Bild market overview and 15th of 16 in the 2023 Auto Bild All Season Tire Test. Wet braking in the 2024 test was 20th of 37, 23% from best.

The full 2023 test identified limited winter capability, especially lateral grip on snow, and long wet stopping distances. Snow handling and slalom were both 17th of 18, while wet handling was 16th of 18. Rolling resistance was also near the back, 17th of 18 and 21.9% from best. The clearer positives were predicted mileage of 51,953 km, seventh of 16, and cost per 1,000 km, second of 16, alongside praise for quiet rolling noise. No award is recorded. The strong 2025 braking result does not establish that the earlier snow, handling and efficiency limitations have disappeared.
