Which should you buy?
Choose the Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3 for a true all-season solution-especially if you drive in heavy rain, on faster roads, or see regular cold/wintry conditions. Pick the Linglong Sport Master 4S only if budget is the overriding priority and you mainly drive in mild climates where snow is rare and you can accept reduced wet/aquaplaning safety margins in exchange for a much lower purchase price.
Where the Sport Master 4S is stronger
- Strong value proposition / low purchase price (wins value in multiple tests; e.g., 6.97 vs 10.12 price/1000 in Auto Bild 2025)
- Dry performance can be genuinely competitive for the money (splits dry-handling wins 3-3; fastest dry handling in Auto Express 2026)
- Occasionally respectable braking on dry or wet in specific tests (e.g., best wet braking in Auto Bild Crossover SUV 2025; decent dry braking relative to some premiums noted in Auto Zeitung 2026)
Where the Cinturato All Season SF3 is stronger
- Consistent overall test winner across all shared tests (1st place in 6/6 comparisons), reflecting top-tier all-round balance
- Wet-road safety advantage: shorter wet braking and faster wet handling in every shared test, plus large aquaplaning margins (straight and curved)
- Better winter capability versus Linglong: stronger snow traction and snow handling in all shared tests, typically by meaningful margins
The bullet points are analysis of the shared tests and of owner reviews; the measured wins in each discipline are in the tables below. Where the two disagree, the figures are right.

Wins count every measurement the shared tests recorded for both tires; a tick marks the tire ahead on that line. Subjective driver scores count as wins but are never averaged, because each test uses its own scale.
Head to head in 7 tests, 2025 to 2026
Each row is one published test in which both tires ran on the same car, in the same size, on the same day. The line is the whole field, winner on the left.

In each test the better of the two figures counts as 100% and the other as its share of it, so a 118 ft stop against 112 ft is 95%; each spoke averages the shared tests that recorded it. The scale stops at 85%: a point further in sits on the hub's edge, hollow. 3 measurements recorded in only one shared test are left off; every measurement is in the table further down.

Braking distances and lap times are better when lower; speeds, wear and grip figures when higher. A test's figures are its own: sizes, cars, surfaces and temperatures differ from one to the next, which is why the averages here are only ever of tests the two tires shared. "Scored" rows are subjective driver ratings: each test uses its own scale, so only the wins are counted.

All 73 Cinturato All Season SF3 reviewsGreat tires! In autumn and winter conditions, I found them better than the Continental TS860 in mud and snow, but worse on ice.
In summer, compared with the Continental PremiumContact 6, they offered better aquaplaning resistance, but slightly worse wet grip and overall handling. Lateral stability was by far their weakest point compared with my old Conti.
These were my first all-season tires, a bit of a gamble for me, but overall, I would recommend them. After 40,000 km over two years, they are showing some wear, so I plan to replace them by 50,000 km to stay on the safe side. My original plan was to use them for 40,000–60,000 km and less than four years.

Reading the results
Written from the test results and owner reviews above. It is analysis, not a measurement: where it and the tables disagree, the tables are right.
This is a classic budget-versus-premium all-season showdown: the Linglong Sport Master 4S (touring all-season) aims to deliver acceptable year-round ability at a very low purchase price, while the Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3 (premium-touring all-season) is engineered to be a “do-everything” tire with high safety margins, especially on wet roads.
Across six shared, independent tests (Auto Zeitung 2026, Auto Express 2026, multiple Auto Bild 2025 group tests and a 2025/26 all-season round-up), the pattern is extremely consistent: the Pirelli wins every overall comparison (6/6), typically by building large advantages in wet braking, wet handling and aquaplaning resistance, while also being clearly stronger on snow. The Linglong's counterpunch is value and occasional strong dry handling pace, but its weakest areas tend to be the exact conditions where all-season tires are most often asked to “save the day”: heavy rain and real winter grip.
Conclusion
Looking at the full spread of results, the Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3 is the more complete and safer all-season tire in almost every meaningful scenario. It repeatedly delivers shorter braking distances on both dry and wet tarmac (e.g., 36.2 m vs 38.3 m dry braking in Auto Zeitung 2026; 31.9 m vs 34.19 m wet braking in Auto Express 2026), dominates aquaplaning metrics (Auto Express curved aquaplaning 3.22 vs 2.32 m/s²; straight aquaplaning gaps commonly ~8-13%), and is consistently quicker/easier on wet handling (Linglong loses wet handling in all 6 shared tests). On snow, the Pirelli is not always the very best tire in a whole test field, but it is reliably ahead of the Linglong for traction and lap performance (often by ~5-17%), which translates into more predictable control and fewer “surprises” when temperatures drop.
The Linglong Sport Master 4S makes sense mainly as a cost-driven choice for drivers who prioritize purchase price and spend most of the year on dry roads, in milder climates where snow is rare and standing-water safety margins are less frequently tested. It can be impressively quick in dry handling in some sizes/tests (it splits dry-handling wins 3-3 and even tops Auto Express 2026's dry handling), and its value score is strong where price-per-distance is calculated (e.g., Auto Bild 2025 value 6.97 vs 10.12 price/1000). But the repeated wet and aquaplaning deficits-plus multiple reports of less precise feel/soft sidewalls and weak winter behavior-mean it's difficult to justify if you regularly drive in heavy rain, on motorways in standing water, or in any region with consistent winter conditions.
Practical takeaway: if you want an all-season tire that behaves like a premium summer tire in the wet while still staying credible when it snows, the SF3 is the clear pick-even if it costs more up front. The Linglong is the “cheap entry ticket” to all-season convenience, but it asks you to accept smaller safety reserves exactly when conditions get nasty.

Finishing positions and measurements are transcribed from each published test. A test only counts here when both tires ran in it, so every figure was recorded on the same car, size and day as the one it is compared to.
About the TR Score
The Tire Reviews Score rates each tire out of 10 from every independent test result and vetted owner review we hold, so two tires can be compared even before a test has run them together.
