Driving on mostly country roads for 3000 miles
as my tire size has too much width, i used to have lots of roll on sidewalls with my last tires which were premium contact 5s. With this tire i experienced excellent handling and road feedback both in dry and wet. However i find out that it has a harder compound than contis and it does not feel like you're above clouds like conti does on cracked country roads. Other than that it feels really good. As i had only 3000 miles on them ,can't really comment on wear.

I would not normally write a review on a tire. I find that in my normal use I have always found tires are generally fine. The the two factors I have considered is the price and if I get a reasonable mileage from them. Ride comfort and noise have never been an issue HOWEVER these Wanli S1088s are awful! The noise is intrusive vvvv loud as described in many other posts.I can't believe it! I have had to change after only 2000 miles as I cant stand them any more. all the other reviews re horrific noise are correct.
